- In today's vlog, I show you my day in the life as an athletic training student during my high school rotation! I am currently a junior in the athletic training program at the University of Miami and I had the opportunity to do my clinical rotation/internship at Christopher Columbus High School here in Miami. Here is my experience and some differences I noted compared to working at a college.

Hope everybody is staying safe! This video was recorded before the COVID-19 outbreak and it was actually the last day of "real" school I had. To be honest, I did get emotional watching this video and realizing that I won't be on campus with my friends for a while feels devastating. I know these are tough times but we will get through this! Wishing everybody the best right now!
That guy who is involved in special olympics and in athletic training is my literal dream. I was apart of the first Unified Track team here in Cali and in best buddies and Unified sports and let me tell you the satisfaction you get when these kids get CIF champ patches is so good and I hope I get into athletic training

What’s up Danny, I’m entering my junior year at Kean University for my AT program so I understand the grind us AT student go through, just wanna know what can I expect this semester apart from the hustle lol also shoutout to all AT students on the grind let’s get it done together !
Honestly AT is grind, just be mentally ready. There are a lot of small things I enjoyed doing before I started clinicals and when I was not able to do them anymore, it really put me down. But work hard and you can get through it!

My high school has one treatment table in a room ab as big as a big bedroom

You'd be horrified if you think that athletic training room is small haha! Here in Kentucky there were 3 treatment tables in a room about a quarter of that size at my high school rotation.
and no ultrasound or stim. Just ice and heat packs!

Hee man like your vids. I amnstudying PT. Is there any evidence on ultrasound? I dont think so? Why are you still using it? Keep up the good work like the vids.
Ultrasound is always controversial haha I have seen it used a lot here in Miami
How were things last year? I’m an LMT and work with a DrC doing rehab and we took a hit. (I also do the training).
I’m going back to school and am looking into becoming an ATC because I enjoy the work
