Lovely look....i don't do creamy shadows, even when i set them..they crease and breakup on my oily lids. the palette is so pretty.....love the berry pinky tones
That's what I have issues with, and I have dry lids. 😟 It's so beautiful though.
Oily lids definitely make it virtually impossible to wear certain formulas, especially creams! The pomades in here are more like a putty, so I wonder if it would give the same result? Definitely not worth buying to take that chance, especially if you have a reliable formula that works for you!

I am so glad you picked up this palette by your girl! Shoot, who am I kidding, it was only a matter of time before you had this in your hands ❤. I actually like the color story of this one better. It is actually a color story instead of a bunch of base colors that can be used for everything on the face. Can’t wait to see more looks with this palette. I’m glad you mentioned it can be paired with the other Danessa palette or with other shades for that matter.

When I first heard the baby cry, I thought it was Sé and I was grabbing my purse and keys to drive all night to find out what the emergency was!!!! Lol! I felt like I’d lost physical weight when you said it was a baby. It’s official, I’m the babiest baby’s Godmother. ❤❤

The first palette kind of intimidated me. I felt my makeup skills aren’t good of enough and how many shades would I use. However. This palette I can see myself using. Have you ever tried her foundation the first one the Vision cream? I have one more question the darker shade in the new palette do you think you could use them for brows??
I can definitely understand the intimidation! I think it takes patience and trial & error. And knowing that the pomade doesn’t act like the regular shadows we are used to! I tend to just start lightly and build from there.
I tried the vision cream and felt like it was way too thick for me. I wore it several times and just felt like it was too heavy! I also don’t think I had the right shade, so that made it worse lol
I’ve tried her Yummy Skin serum and wasn’t a fan of that either. I think I remember feeling like it was sticky? It’s been a while and I returned it once I realized.
I do like her colorfix nude. I can use those for light coverage. I’ll have to do another video on it. I did one quite a while ago just using the colorfix nude shades as my foundation! And, of course, I like the blurring balm. And the beauty oil. So, there are definitely products I prefer in her line. I also know the secret is to use a teeny tiny bit, but those base products and I just don’t go together!
I think you can use that deep shade (XO) for brows, BUT it has like a purplish tint to it. Not overpowering, though. I just went and swatched the pomade and the powder and I think as you build it up, you would see that sort of eggplant undertone! I’d say use a brow pencil instead? I most often use a brow pencil overall because that’s my preference. But, if I have the original groundwork and the right brush, I can use that!

Me too! I heard she was going to do refills, so I was surprised she revealed a new groundwork. I’m hoping the refills will be next. It makes most sense, especially with her being a makeup artist and knowing people may work with some mades more than others.

What eyeliner did you get!? I was actually looking at a couple drugstore liquid liners the other day. I’ve used the elf and nyx ones. I think the nyx one ended up leaking, though I really enjoyed it before that.

I've stopped trying to use the eyeliner pens. With all the makeup that ends on my face, those pens get too gummed up to finish the job. Right now I'm obsessed with Black Radiance's liquid liner. I've tried so many brands but this one is the tits! Of course they were out so I got their gel liner. It comes with a very cheap brush. Thankfully, I have better. LOL@@smileyshani2252
