Hey! Fellow Knoxville guy here! Marine Specialists installed my bass boat carpet. I saw a few excel there that looked really nice! If you don’t care.. wondering if you have any experience with 7’+ rods in the rod lockers.
I was able to stuff almost all of my rods on the storage side of the boat (10 catfish rods, 2 Musky/Stripe, 2 Skipjack, 1 small bluegill rod). I used the rod locker as storage. This exact boat is for sale at Marine Specialists right now as I have traded it in for another boat!
Hey Billy great video! May I ask how you fastened your multi bars to your boat? I have the same boat and cannot find a way to get underneath the deck to use a nut and bolt. Did you use self tapping screws? Thanks
I used Rivnuts for about 6 holes and bolts/nuts for two holes where the Rivnuts were not aligned up properly. Thankfully I had access on that side for bolts and nuts. Rivnuts work great if you can get them to align up perfectly.
Depends on what you would consider issues. It doesn't draft as shallow as some people think (its heavy). The rod lockers would only hold bass rods. You don't really need a back deck in a catfish boat (cant get away from that). The console took up a ton of space and cant attach anything to windshield easily. It really needs a dual axle trailer (I had single axle, tires kept bouncing into fender). Outside of that it was a tank of a boat.
Nice boat. But idk what I would do with it park it in the yard and pretend I was fishing on the lake lol. Ain't no water big enuff for a boat like that where I live lol
I had a few reasons. The rod lockers of the ProCat were only bass rod size. The back deck is a tripping hazard (something I can't get away from). I put rod holders that were to short in the back. The console took up a LOT of space and I couldn't mount anything to the windshield. The single axle trailer was garbage. I don't need an 80 gallon livewell (rather have a large bait tank).
Great video brother nice introduction love it 👍great boat, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to subscriber if you have not!
I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to make this video, I really really appreciate it 😎

@@TNRVG nice! Thanks for the reply! I think I’d have to have the 150 for toting the family around.

Awesome video!! Your channel looks really cool and interesting! Just subbed too!!👊
Awesome thank you!
that boat would probably work pretty well for crappie fishing.. mine catches too much draft..
The center console is a wind sail especially with the windshield on it.
Can you tell me how shallow this boat can go? Do you think you could fish from this boat in 12” of water?
I would not hit bottom until my Garmin said I was in 0.8 foot of water. Was pretty impressive.
@@TNRVG Wow that sounds really good. Thanks for the reply.
Billy did you have any issues with yout Seaark Procat - was wondering why you moved on from Seaark.

I bet there are people who do that... or leave it somewhere on the coast to fish once or twice a year in.
@@TNRVG very true. That's why I got a 14 foot john boat I can take it every where's
Man how do you like the center console coming from a pro cat?
I ended up trading it for a side console. I like having floor space and the center console was in the way.
Awfully nice boat!! Seems like the procat would have been a better choice for catfish guiding? Why did you get rid of yours?
