This is really good, but after listening I also understand why burn it all down is the 2021 worlds anthem
maybe yes, i mean it´s understandable they´ve put "burn it all down" before "Heroes". But i still think, that for this year "Heroes" should be before "Star walking", it more matching proper worlds anthem

Yeah but what I've come to understand from what has been said, is that since Riot owned the song they could literally use it whenever they wanted. Meaning they could have used this instead of star walking. I love star walking but it's sad they made a whole ass song to never use it.
@@deadr0tten31 I see what you mean. My thought is they did it for the sake of variety maybe. Listening to this and Burn it down really shows that the songs were made by different people given the same set of guidelines. I can see this song getting released to a flood of comments all saying, "Burn it Down 2? Boring". I'm surprised they didn't release this as the world's anthem and then just include Star Walkin as extra sorta like what they did with Phoenix and Giants in 2019.

I get that this was made for the 2021 worlds, but it's suffering from the same problem as Star Walking... it lacks a climax, which makes it boring and more like a lullaby

@@puff1n469 yeah, the song is clearly unfinished based on how the background beat mostly drowns out the vocals. If Riot were going to use this, they would for sure change those things. I think it was just that the song they were provided based on the guidelines weren't satisfactory. Based on their Arcane doc, what they usually do is contact multiple artists through their agents, provide them guidelines and ask for a rendition of what that artist can do with it. They then take all those options and select one. What I'm saying is that doubtless there are other unreleased demos from other artists, that's just natural, and like all demos, they're unfinished.

exactly what I thought , it lacks an impact it's supposed to hype people up because it's about fighting to win as world champions no matter what kind of music taste we have. I guess they're trying to make something new each year but they forget that we need something that make us explode with excitement for the event.

It wasn't. I know, that this story sounds cool, passionate league fan gets his chance on doing worlds anthem and it's denied at last seconds. But trully we dont have any proof of his claims, outside his words. Song could easily fit MV good, cos its maybe created way after its release.

It definitely fits the video better than Burn it Down, but Burn it Down got me more hype. This would have been great for 2023 (or as some people have mentioned, for Arcane S2)
I love the voice distort with the Syndra ult, and the last chorus actually gets hype. It would have been a nice motif to hear throughout worlds too. Overall, good job!

Pretty good, thanks for releasing it. I feel the vocals are let down by the lack of depth in the instruments. Just doesn't give the epic, motivational and uplifting feeling that previous worlds themes have.

Becose Firs't it's not official channel Second it mean to be LoL anthem for World's but they change it to burn it all down and they say'd to author that music will be in 2022 world's anthem but they change it again to Lil nas x-Star walker and author was disapointment he drop this track in youtube and Spotify but I received a report and deleted the music, but the Internet remembers everything

In my opinion, again I think the song itself is good, but if it were to be compared to Star Walkin’ or Burn it Down, it still doesn’t compete.
I’m not saying Star Walkin’ is a masterpiece anthem either, I think both songs suffer from the same problem: the beat carries the energy when it instead needs to be enhancing it. The energy in these kinds of songs is brought through the vocals and pitch variation, enhanced in energy and emotion with the beat.
I’m no expert and I’m certainly not dissing the work put into this song, it’s just my opinion based on previous works endorsed and put out by Riot for worlds or Preseason.
I agree with your reasoning. The vocals have been the strongest contributer to the worlds anthems and this year with star walking its been a bit... weak.
I think this case it's a clear lack of depth in the instruments backing the vocals. Myla killed it, but there wasn't a climax in the song.

To be honest, first time I listened to this song I think it's so boring and I know why Riot choose BIAD instead of Heroes. But after replaying it for 3 times, I just realized that this song is perfect, I mean it's better than Star Walkin, but it need more like heroism, and a strong voice. I bet that if Heroes is performed by Imagine Dragons, it will be super cool, and it even can beat Star Walkin to be 2022 worlds anthem.

Sounds like Arcane OST, not Worlds anthem. But it's really good match for Arcane.
I really believe this case got into some misunderstanding from the artist's producer part. A music that is "shelved" means that is kept until a good opportunity for the music arrives. I argue that the music is good but clearly needs adjustments (it is a demo at this stage basically). So it is possible Riot wanted to collaborate with those "more famous artists" first (as the producer calls them) before realising their song. Which is completely fine! Probably their song was going to be adjusted to be a 2023 words song, but BLMD didn't wait bcs "the song is a banger"... I also believe this song would have been the 2023 anthem bcs every worlds song alternates between men and women.
They picked nas because he is queer and they wanted to push a gay black champ, its entirely just to push inclusivity and not because his music was actually any good lol
@@shanematthews1985 I don't think the music was good for Worlds neither. But what I said is that Riot chose work with him for whatever reasons, and it was the strategy they chose to adopt which is completely fine after all because it is a strategy and nothing has to do with Heroes.

Music and visuals are good but honestly not a Worlds Anthem material. Same as Star Walkin. Iam missing that epic, hype orchestral sound that will make goosebumbs on your body.

The animation is good. The song is good too but more for intermission type. It needs a little more hype for example when they start fighting. I am sure you know what I mean. Can’t really explain it with my low knowledge unless I will put more thoughts on it. Definitely overall is great. Not sure why they would just send you a no after saying yes. However, anything would have been rejected when Lil Nas X stops by.

It's not bad, but it doesn't feel like a worlds anthem. It's kind of a depressive/sad lullaby rather than the ' hype' impact I'm personally looking for. So I understand Riot's choice to shelve this one - although I will say they have waited too long and I understand why you want to let it out.
