As a dogsledder, seeing those dogs all weave and Bob around on the trail without seeming set on a direction, plus seeing the squirrel gave me major anxiety lmao 😂 I love it!

You can tell whoever did a lot of the visuals knew how it actually is like to live in a place that gets snow each year. The window having marks left behind from a scraper, the way the road looks with the tire tracks in the snow, how the trees look, it brings me home to rural canada

Noodles my fav though not just cuz I love the food noodles. I find it adorable when you get to the wolf part!
I like Everest and Noodle, Noodle is just being Noodle, and at one part I love how Everest protects her team 🙂
Iggy was a good choice. She slept under snow. Many sled dogs learn to dig under snow and sleep under it to keep warm during snow storms, which when they can’t be in tents could potentially save their lives from the cold

It's so nice to see a game with sled dogs in it!! We have 23 of our own but i might seriously look into this game to still my craving when summer comes around again. But for now we're busy preparing and training our dogs for this winter season!

Noodle: Loves wolves. Gets wolf toy on back.
Slayer: Hates loud noises and deer. Gets earmuffs
Chomper: Understands to not always chase squirrel's rare thing for Chomper to do is protect you from a bear! Gets a bandanna with a squirrel on it.
Gale: Got pricked by a porcupine and learnt to never run into stuff. Gets socks.
Bodega: Protects you for the food and grabs the sled when you're on ice and the ice cracks. Gets food bags.
Fin: Earns your trust and gets a skunk but you comfort her expect a successful sniff soon. Gets your beanie.
Iggy/Igloo: Protects you in fights and Chomper likes her. Gets a med kit on her I think it gives you an extra med kit after you find the cabin.
Barkley: Protects you and gets his voice and chases off animals with it. Gets a coat.
Stilton: I guess you do every purple writing with him and after finding the bear trap you let him choose where it goes. Gets goggles.
Bear cub: If you follow you might get attacked by the mama bear or see a snoot boop or a tree scratcher, or you can hunt it.
Tip: If you see a carcass on ice wait a wolf might come if you go you might get attacked if the wolf comes you can shoot it or leave it be.
Wolf: You can save it from the trap... (My fingers are sore it's taking 30 mins)
Bunny: You can kill it or leave it be if you see a family the same thing.
Owl: Bad omen. It might lead you to stuff but we careful!
Ask for more that's all, my fingers hurt...

Went and bought it then spent all evening playing, I've finished it now, reached the cabin, omg i love this so much, thank you seri for finding all these incredible qwerky indie nature games!

My first run was with Stilton, Fin, Iggy and Bodega, Stilton is absolutely in my opinion the most useful of all the dogs, although I'm now trying out Slayer, Barkley, Gale and Noodle in a new run so that may change
What do Stilton and Noodle look like? I wanted to see all the dogs but I can't find results on google.
Does the game end when you get to the cabin?
@@ellazaritsky8178 Stilton is like a white husky with black patches, not as fluffy as Iggy and Barkley but a little fluffier than Chomper, he also has blue eyes, I just googled him "The red lantern Stilton" and he's the first image
Noodle is thinner and looks a bit like chomper, very sleepy and adorable, not as fluffy, all the dogs are husky type dogs I think :)
@@itz_wolfstreamergirl9549 Each run you the more you do the more resources and/or any tools you found you'll start with on your next, you wake up like a bad dream in the van with the same dogs. When you reach the cabin the credits roll but you can carry on playing that save with those items and dogs to complete your journal/achievements.
There's also 2 other saves you can use to start fresh and pick the dogs again without effecting your old saves :)

I lived there for a few years but moved back to the lower 48 for my husband's job!
Alaska is where I met and married my husband and where my son was born. It's where I started my family and I want to go back!
I started crying two different times while watching this. Mostly because of how you were talking about having to try new things to find out who you are. That you're not going to be good at everything, but you'll also be good a a lot of things. Another reason I started crying was because the narrator said "home is where you make it," and that just really touched me.
There are people who say the want to “live of the land” in Alaska and never show up again. Never to be seen again. Other people who say that die and are found weeks moths and even YEARS later. Kinda wanna know what goes through there mind though.

My beloved husky of 10 years sadly passed away a few days ago. Its been a sad time for me and my family (especially Loki who considered Eva his sister).When I watch these videos they remind me of her and her one blue and one brown eye staring up at you hoping for either chicken or a belly rub. Loki is much like Chomper and Eva Bodega, even though they had their differences they both looked and acted like kin. Thankyou so much for all these calming videos-I think even Loki enjoys sitting with me and watching them! You help so many people get through rough or sad times and I just want to make sure you know that and hope you keep up the great content. I know Eva is looking down with a big goofy grin and may she rest in peace.

My favorite one is a iggy because I really like being energized and he likes big stuff so maybe you might get really cold and he could dig a little snow tunnel for you to sleep in

I’m really feeling a bond with igloo, If it were me out there and I had to choose my dogs igloo would be part of the pack. She is very much a dog that can handle her own out in the wild. Paired with Barkley we will be in good hands. Finn will always keep Barkley in check though showing him the right paths to take. I’m not feeling Bodega but I’m sure I’ll grow to love him, and of course our lead dog and best friend Chomper will find his new life challenging and fun! I’m so excited to start this series!

She finds a city boy named Chris, frozen cold she takes him aboard.
After doing so she encounters multiple challenges. Read to find out more!
