I applied to sciences po many years ago and got rejected which discouraged me but I’m ready to try again! My bachelors was also in marketing and I was thinking of doing marketing for my masters too. Hey! When I first moved to France I was an au pair (basically a live in nanny), so I lived with a French family for one year. That’s how I learned the basics of French just by being surrounded by the language and hearing it everyday. After that I started watching movies/series & listening to podcasts in French, that’s helped me a lot as well!

    Hello again, the part that I couldn't understand is, do we have to find a private school and register for it first and then check the job post specified as alternance? Because, the job posts posted as alternance/appreniceship don't explicitly offer paying tuition or they require candidates to be already registered in a master program. Didn't really understand this :/

    • @WhereTianaTravels
      @WhereTianaTravels  Рік тому

      Yes, you find the school and apply for it first and then once you get accepted you will search for an alternance job (the same way you would look for a regular job). Thank you!
      To be honest most French language courses here are extremely expensive, and i don’t know of any that are 100% free, but your best bet is to look for a language course offered by the Mayor or the ‘Mairie” of your city - these courses are significantly cheaper (around €250-300 for 60 hours of lessons) but since they’re so cheap the spots fill up quickly so you have to sign up as soon as they open ! I’m not sure if you’re living in Paris but here’s a link to the language classes offered by the Mairie de Paris : cma.paris.fr/uploads/Les%20nouvelles%20formations%2021-22.pdf
      Hope that helps! x

      It depends on the school, but I think as long as you have a degree and maybe have some work/internship experience in the field you want to study you should not have a problem!

    So with the alternance do you find the job yourself or the school finds the job for you

      Your school can give you recommendations but generally you have to find the job yourself

    I would love to know if there is a way to get a masters degree online from France (For free). Is that offered for French citizens?

    • @WhereTianaTravels
      @WhereTianaTravels  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, French citizens can do the alternance as well! It would be the exact same situation as I described in this video (part time at school and part time at work) you'd just have to find a school/program that is online
