Riding The Montgomery Elevator At Von Maur Oxmoor Center In Louisville, KY. This Was The Best Elevator In The Mall That I Filmed So Far. This Store Was Originally Stewart's When It Opened In 1971 With The Mall, Then L.S. Ayre's In 1985, Then Ben Snyder's In 1987, Then Hess's In 1988, Then Jacobson's In 1994. Jacobson's Lasted Until 2002 Because The Company Went Bankrupt, Since That Was Way Before I Started Filming Elevators. Von Maur Eventually Replaced Jacobson's. This Elevator I Think Used To Be Either A Montgomery G&P Or A Westinghouse When It Was Installed With The Mall. Then Innovated In The 90's. Von Maur Is Basically A Midwestern Version Of Nordstrom.
