I briefly met Peter the same year as this interview, when VdGG were rehearsing for the Trisector shows in the same London complex as my band Perhaps Contraption (of whom a couple of our number were big fans). We kind of 'ambushed' him in the corridor with albums to be signed and gushing declarations of how much he had influenced our music etc, but he was very gentlemanly and couldn't have been nicer about it, considering we were a couple of "energy vampires coming out of the wall" 😏
8:32 There were 27 countries officially reported in the press back in 2005, and here pH says 26. Since my ticket was bought for me by my UK friend the official number, whatever it is, should be incremented by 1. I would surely know if there was another pilgrim from Armenia ;-)
