Very timely. I just built this kit a week ago. I also did the US Army version, but added the. 50 cal. machinegun, ala Rat Patrol. I also built the included trailer and mountain howitzer. Their tow rings must be carefully opened up a bit to fit the Jeep's tow hook. In all several variations can be done, as the top can be erected or folded, and there are the twin Lewis guns as used by the British SAS. A very neat kit, as detailed as some 1/35 kits I have built. With 63 year old eyes and XXL fingers, those wee decals were a challenge!
I have built many of these. They are such a quick build, it has allowed me to experiment with many versions. I plan on building a few more. My next version will be the ambulance. I build only in 1/72 & 1/76 scale. They are much easier to store and are a great size for wargaming. My Mancave has approximately 2000 WWII models in this scale. I also have hundreds of hand painted troops from various countries. It’s my form of Zen. It requires great hand-eye coordination and patience. I love it!
Thanks so much for your comment Dave. Wow, 2000 models is a lot! I have only started building and collecting kits last year but there is a certain chance that some day I'll catch up to that number because I'm a collector at heart too! :) Building these small models is also my form of Zen, helps me forget all the troubles around me. Stay safe and all the best from Germany, Oliver/RWO
Thank you so much for your great comment and subscription! Already working on the next build and video, should be up in about a week or so... stay tuned. :) Cheers!
Thank you, appreciate it! The tracks I used for this vid - besides "The Army Goes Rolling Along" - are called "Potato Deal" and "Point Green Getdown" by artist Craig MacArthur. They are included in the UA-cam Studio Audio Library. Hope this helps. Cheers, Oliver/RWO
Thanks for your comment! I checked out your videos, really cool! Regarding the Jeep model I'm afraid it won't be quite as nice in your videos because the wheels are fixed so the model doesn't move...
It turned out to be a very cute Jeep!

The build rocks big time! Please also advise the music used for the vide - loves the guitarwork.

Eu sou colecionador na escola 1/72🙌
Auf meinem Kanal baue ich den in 1:8
Sehr beeindruckendes Modell, toll gebaut! 👍 Da verschwindet der winzige 1:72er ja im Radkasten ... 😂😉
Great stuff. Is there any way I can buy these? Checkout my videos and I want to shoot your creation the same way.
