Your 500 day calculation doesn't take into account that mining becomes more difficult over time. In a year, it will be significantly more difficult to mine and your profitability will be even longer.

You can buy an electricity usage monitor which just plugs in to the wall socket then plug everything into that, convert the KWH usage over 24 hours by the costs your provider charges. I’ve got friends who were mining it and barely making a profit with electricity costs and the repayments on their rig costs (5 year finance with 0% interest) but I guess after 5 years when it’s paid off they own their rig ($20,000 AUD, but probably only worth $3000-4000 after it’s paid off) plus the potential of the coins rising. It’s a risky move but hopefully pays off in the long run!
Problem is that before even your rig has payed off the GPUs are either broken or mining difficulty has increased. The next halving is in 2024. Good luck. 🙏 But still loving those videos.

its ok bro..i bought rtx 3090 for mining and gaming...yes its getting too hot...so i just lower the power limit to keep the temp below 100 degree..hashrate drop..but im thinking slow and steady is better rather than pushing the card and end up broke it before it pay for itself. They said better late than never.
Bro watch out, over clocking 3090s means that their vram temps go crazy (>100 Celsius) and that could damage the card. You need really good cooling and have to replace their stock thermal pads
for the love of god, don't use SATA-Connectors to power your risers, unless you want to potentially burn your house down. PCIe-slots usually provide about 75W of power, SATA-Connectors can only do like 50W. Some people use Molex, but I don't know their specification. I'd just recommend a PCIe 6-pin
The main problem for me is the upfront cost of this whole operation. If it is set up i can imagine it to be very profitable (after around 1 year), but getting to set it up is the main problem.

Hey, it looks like you are using sata connections on your risers. That's probably not a good idea with 3090s because they draw tons of power.
I used to mine using the USB dongles. Was running 200 5.4ghz. On slushies pool.
