This trip begins along US 11 going down the hill on William Street into the downtown area of Pittston which has been spruced up nicely in recent years. The trip then crosses over the Fort Jenkins Bridge and goes along Wyoming Avenue, still US 11 between West Pittston and Kingston. I always thought that driving along the four lane section of Wyoming Avenue was one of the nicest urban drives in Eastern Pennsylvania. The traffic moves right along and you go through neighborhoods which are a nice mixture of urban and commercial retail. I have always enjoyed the drive along Wyoming Avenue whenever I was there. At approximately 18:30 the trip turns off of Wyoming Avenue and goes onto Main Street and then makes a loop through Edwardsville. This trip was in Luzerne County.
