    Thanks, Leon.
My first reaction was that this reduces the BFRO database to a list of dates and events - with events being sightings of... and then I realize - there is nothing there - this was a moose - what were any of the others - who is to say.
This means that from the top of BFRO there is no accountability. If anybody pressed to reign this hyperbole in, they utterly failed. This tells me that no explanation from management below Money Maker has any real meaning since we can never be sure he didn't just tell them what to say - up to and including to deny what they say is handed to them from the top...
For years we have suspected, based on BFRO investigators, that reports have been abridged within the database. Yet until this we might have trusted there were sightings, now we have lost even that expectation of the BFRO organization.
I hope that individual investigators, many of whom we expect have proper expertise and integrity, also have the professionalism to have kept their own notebooks and records for everything they have investigated. At this point the only way BFRO could possibly redeem itself would be to have individual investigators review and approve the records within the encounter database.
The problem is, the way their system is organized, there is no authentication to anything - there is no way for them to assert with any meaning that any given record has been reviewed by any investigator. No doubt that the boss there has all the keys and can just do what he wants.

There's NOT something on the hill !!!
(Actually, I think this would have been better as: There's NOTHING on the hill !")

I personally know of 2 reports, just simple encounters, that never made it to the database

Not surprising Moneymaker made the claim for every time he heard a sound on Finding Bigfoot... it was a Sasquatch

My wife watched every episode of 'Finding Bigfoot' (or should I say Not Finding), after seeing one. Somewhere along the way I said, "They're never going to find one the way they're doing it. And Moneygrubber always had a distasteful look about him. Glad I found a bunch of you people's channels recently. UA-cam makes it hard. Anyway I'm a new subscriber, good work.

I have spoken with a 10 year member of the BFRO who has left the organization. This person told me that the BFRO has omitted or "doctored" many reports that do not fit the BFRO narrative. In fact, said person was told to edit his very own reports. Upon doing this several times against his wishes, it led to his leaving the organization. I will say that all reports were what we call "the Woo"... was involved in the encounter. Does that really matter? Yes, we all have our opinions one way or another regarding the Supernatural with these creatures. But to fragrantly omit a persons actual encounter and revise it to fit a said agenda should not be tolerated. Whether you have doubts or not. It perhaps would be better not to post a report if you thought it was a false claim. With this video and what I have learned about the BFRO, it is an organization none of us should trust. Thanks, BMR!

That has been going on every since the BFRO came into existence! I've known people since the 90's that were field reps who left the organization. for the reasons mentioned!

I am glad that every time I post a comment that has mention of my area, I find I have many neighbors that at least hear the same things. I reported something to the BFRO years ago, and was told someone would contact me. I don't know how long they expect me to wait to give my story, but I won't bother at this point. The Northern Olympic Peninsula around the mountain river areas, is heavy with local reports, and I hear things a few times a year, usually little things, but a few obvious signs of another premier ape specie like us..

Great breakdown Leon! It's a shame this guy's more worried about spreading his narrative than to try and push forward the existence of this creature. We are going backwards every time they put out garbage like this, he's just arm chair quarterbacking from miles away.

This was really interesting. I'm born and raised in B.C. and everyone you talked to reminded me of half the people I know! I'm interested in the next part.

The issue with the BFRO is that their basis is toward confirmation based on no actual evidence that they can compare with. They have criteria that is flawed, based myths, hearsay and conjecture with little actual science or critical thinking applied to subject. Its clearly brought out by the show starring main BFRO members, including founder, Matt Moneymaker. Owl hoots, coyote howls, acorns dropping, etc all became signs of a Bigfoot or 2 or 3 in the area. Their recreations are very poorly done and they seem, unless it extremely obvious, that the witness saw a Bigfoot.

This was a very cool video. You are very lucky to interview the eyewitnesses. It's crazy to believe people can mistake a bear and a moose for something standing on two legs. Let the adventures continue.

How does the Frog's Peak Cafe statue relate? Had the put in the area of the sighting? You didn't seem to follow through on that line of thought. I also noted on their FB page, there was someone who dressed in the "Jack Link's Jerky" type Sasquatch costume. Whether that relates, I don't know. Besides, I expect an exhibition by the cafe would be closer to the store to make sure the relationship is clear.

Two things come to mind pretty easily:
First is that someone in the area does have a costume. It is just a possibility they may use it to prank people - just something to be aware of.
Second is that with this kind of marketing going on, there may be people in the community - maybe even the witnesses - who are primed to perceive a Sasquatch instead of something more mundane.
