Anyone hurting human being is wrong. How come ukraine is expecting support and mercy from the world. We need equality and justice for all nations including iraq/syria/palestine/Rohigya.
Justice should be given equally in Palestine/Iraq/Yemen/arab nations and western world for war crimes. When you hurt innocent children in Palestine/Iraq/Yemen/arab nations you will get the same response and you cry for support from other nations.
And its Shameful that visa banned Modi never condemned by western world, who is responsible for genocide of minorities. Why USA/UN/UNSC dont condemn and put sanctions on the RSS/BJP terrorist organizations run by modi, were hindutva terrorist are calling genocide of minorities of india.
Terrorist's who are damaging the property and houses of innocent minorities should be arrested and punished, but under Modi Nazism hate spreaders are protected. I immediately took notice of him, when I came across him doing is short series of "debates" --- on pop culture/religious/ethnic and racial issues --- from the Oxford University Student Union place, for Al Jazeera. Without googling, & if I remember it correctly, Hasan attended Oxford or one of the top 2-3 British universities...
He's very well read and very articulate and persistent in character... I found it a bit interesting he let go of his British citizenship and became an American citizen last year or so... he noted of the change of citizenship when he first appeared on MSNBC, guest hosting, filling in for other hosts at the station.
His youth, well read-ness, persistence, and articulate nature soon landed him a more long term, more permanent spot at MSNBC... especially with Rachel Maddow starting to wind down her full time daily show... to focus more on some weekly forum only...
Hasan and Lawrence O'Donnel are the only two guys I watch short clips from, a few times a week...
Both Hasan and O'Donnel are excellent, thoughtful, persistent & fearless in their defense of Liberalism and Western Democracy, while understanding that much of the world's people have been short changed by powerful Western interests...

I listened to the Audible version of Unfreedom shortly after it was released, and I'll admit I fell for the trap of seeing Putin irrelevant because of all the world events the last few years. Sitting down to read the book the last few weeks has been eye opening and extremely prescient by Synder, to say the least!

Putin is influenced by his philosophical leanings as a form of justification for his attack on Ukraine, but the means he has to wage a war like this are a prime example of what happens when the leader of any powerful country gets total power, doesn't allow a free press or free speech, and the leader has an axe to grind, which in Putin's case he's stated before, that the collapse of the Soviet Union was "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century." Really? Would former East Germans, Polish, or Czechs see it that way?
Exactly why we voted Trump out of office! One of the first things he did was try to discredit the media by stating everything was fake news. The media has made some mistakes but without them we would not have been made aware of corruption in the Trump Administration. He uses entertainment news media such as FOX and a few others to spread his propaganda just as Putin is doing now.
