Not gonna lie, I think yall’s reactions are good and all but I’ve been watching up until now to see the reaction to the Unlucky NY Jets joke 😂 Thanks for including it
So there are many tiers of English football, with the Premier League just being the top one. They different leagues all have the same basic season: September to May with the summer months being the off-season. You all are probably familiar with "Welcome to Wrexham", but if you are not, it's a documentary series that follows the Welsh football team Wrexham AFC after being purchased by Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds. So in the English football system, the professional leagues are structured with the top 4 tiers being "league" football and any league below that being "non-league" football. Wrexham were in the 5th tier of English football, called the National League, and so it was a "non-league" football league. I'm a little confused by that terminology as well since I'm an American and I didn't grow up know the English league system. I guess it's sort of like a semi-professional league? Anyway, Wrexham just won their league and got promoted into a tier above them, the 4th tier, which is called League Two. Above that tier is called League One. Above that is the confusingly named Championship league. And then above the Championship league is the Premier League. The last episode saw Richmond relegated from the Premier League to the Championship league. Season 2 of Ted Lasso seeing Richmond trying to do well enough in the Championship league to earn promotion back into the Premier League. Off the top of my head, 3 teams in the Championship league get promoted to the Premier League. The top 2 teams in the Championship automatically get promoted for the next season. Teams finishing the season from 3rd to 6th place enter a playoff tournament & the winner of that also gains promotion. From September to May all the teams plays other teams in their own league. But periodically there are breaks for either international football or Cup tournaments that confusingly operate during these breaks. For instance, the FA Cup. In this tournament, teams in all 9 levels of the English football system can get selected & put into a mega huge bracket system. I'm not sure how lower level teams are selected to play, but basically you could have a top Premier League team playing a bottom level tier 9 team in a game. Teams that win their FA Cup games get put in a selection lottery to see who they play next. Jamie Tartt for sure is pulling a no-no by being in a reality competition show during the season.
I personally like Season 1 better, but its very very close, so you're in for a good time viewing it. Season 2 goes in some very unexpected directions (actually Season 3 does too).
Both the Premier League (top division) and the Championship (second division) have the same schedule which runs from august till may. The PL having 38 matches and the Championship 48 matches. I think Jamie just terminated his contract at City
idk if anyone's said this but when you get relegated you still compete in the same season/time as the premier league, just in the lower league. you can't be promoted to the premier league until the Next season, if you do well enough in the other league
It wouldnt be humanly possible for lower division teams to play off season. England does not have onlx 10 Teams. Its 20 Teams 38 games for all. The year has 52 weeks. There are multiple pauses in the season for national teams to gather and play and a small break in January. It would have to be 38 Matches between the end of June until mid of August. And like I said that is not humanly possible exept you have like 44 starting players that are all equally good and you can rotate
Sharon is a great addition. I won’t spoil it. FYI Jamie is with Man City and left them to do a reality show. Probably because he felt pressure from his dad. Teds reticence on therapy is well founded as his wife’s therapist was their marriage therapist. He forced a separation on them.
Wait. You say you won't spoil then literally right after that spoil everything? Including stuff about Ted from REALLY far off? Edit or delete that post, man. Even the stuff about Jamie is spoiling next episode. Geez.

Roy's lightning speech hits every time, love him.
Roy Kent can absolutely get it.
It is Keeley looking proudly at him then at Rebecca with a look saying he isn’t wrong!
@@fayesouthall6604I don't even think it's pride. It's a realization that he feels that way about her.
Yeah but… you do realize it’s like… a tv thing, right?
Can you imagine how Keely feels when Roy gives that speech to Rebecca? She knows that’s how she makes him feel which is pretty special
I love Roy’s little moments when he just gives advice it’s always great but simple
I love that his friends are a bunch of middle-aged women... and he's not even a little embarrassed by that.
Zuff catching the random Jets L stray made me cackle 🤣
My first time watching, I saw this episode the week of a HUGE loss and I had to turn it off and return at a later date😂
I love how Roy’s friends consist of older women
“I didn’t think Ted Lasso could almost make me cry”
Trust me lads, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
You guys are becoming one of my favorite new reaction channels. Such a chill vibe but super intuitive. Can’t wait to rewatch this show with y’all
Y’all really putting in work with these reactions ❤❤❤
Not the jets beanie 😭😭😂

You’ll always have our support. Keep working hard.
Earl Greyhound gets hit in the head with the ball
Zuff: "I think it's dead 😁"
Season go from August to may, no matter if you are in first, second or 3rd division. Jamke simply left Manchester City for a reality show
S2 is my favorite season
I really love this season, too!
Hilarious that the show is making fun of Love Island 😂
5:55 They had to 🤣🤣🤣
8 games in is definately not the middle of the season, there is 46 games in a Championship season I believe.
Ok Zuff has to be watching ahead. He’s TOO GOOD!!!
Great hat for this;) I don't think Ted is jealous; I think he's more paranoid.
That Jets line hurts every time😭😭🤣
i know it was edited but zuff was quiet for like 30 seconds after the jets joke 😂😂😂😂😂

The premier League goes from august to may. All leagues in Europe use this timeline.
Thanks, Zuff! Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Bryce! 🥅 #ReelTime #DeclanLowney #TedLasso

Love the reactions boys, but i am at the edge of my rope with your shipping!
Love the nod to "Hamilton" in this episode.

And we are just chill about the dog being dead?!??? wth and wtf
Why do u say what’s going to happen before it does? It ruins it for the viewer 🙄🙄🙄
ugh.....Jamie is still on this show. :-(

Hey don’t spoil it
@@hollykm I won’t
@@fayesouthall6604 You already did. We find out about the therapist in 3x3, so why are you making comments about it on 2x1? That's a spoiler.
