    James gets a bad rap for being brutally honest. Great interview

    I didn't go through a huge progression with carry guns. I bought a Glock 19 six years ago and I've carried it ever since.

    James is a great guy and one of the few that I know always speaks his mind . He really wants there to be no confusion on where he stands on issues , people , etc . He's also one of the most generous and helpful people I know . If he has a student that is having some kind of issue he calls on the massive group of alumni to come together to help .

      Thanks for commenting Zach. I've been surprised by how many people have such strong opinions about him. Many of whom haven't ever met him. That dynamic intrigues me. For my part the encounters I've had mirror your sentiment. He has been very generous with me. I'm looking forward to training at his school next week.

      You're welcome . I met him a couple years before I made it to one of his classes . Sense then I've taken several , and have stayed in the team room which is in his house . I'll be there this weekend for Active shooter . Enjoy your class and bring an open mind !

      Sooo much! Every day. I was so privileged to get to call him or text him and get his quick, wise, witty and often blunt responses. I love him still he loved me like a big brother to the end and I'm so grateful.

    Super interview. He can talk nuts 'n bolts any time- getting to know the 'why' of the man-behind-the-man is truly, uniquely, valuable. That was like a personal mentoring session. Thank you so much.

    Looking at James Yeager purely from the perspective of what his message is about correct basic shooting, all I can say is that he absolutely teaches nothing but the true gospel and I truly respect him for that. I also heard people telling their story about how Yeager was there for them as a true friend with substantial material support from his own pocket and unconditionally, in times of dire need and I enormously admire a person for such acts of true greatness.
    And as far as the rest goes... (grabbing some popcorn)
    LET'S GET RRREADY TO RRRRRUUMMBBLLLEEE!!!!!
    PS: He can't help himself to be anything than a loudmouthed know-it-all due to the German part of his genetics. Nothing to be afraid of, Germans might start a World War from time to time, but when they have blown of enough steam they are invarably defeated.
    PROTIP: Don't ruin your relation with the Russians beyond the point of no repair for you never know when you REALLY need them as your trusty allies to handle the aggressive first phase of the famous "Furor Teutonicus"

    This was a fantastic interview. This was my first video I've seen of yours and one of many of James. I like that you didn't bombard him with gun questions and kept it about himself as person. Definitely subscribing.

      Rev2DaLimit lol that was the plan but at 35 minutes in I was so into it I was like forget it I'll just stay up. You did a good job on getting thing out of him I've never heard. And you got some classic I'll shoot them in the F## king face Yeager. GREAT INTERVIEW!

      Thanks Man! Mr. Yeager is an entertaining guy. Honestly, I didn't do much. Off camera-- he's an incredibly generous man. I've been around a lot of "known" people in various "worlds" and I kinda dread the behind the scenes moments with most of them. James Yeager wasn't that way at all. Of course I've received some disparaging comments from folks (after I did the interview) but none of them seem to know James personally. It would be silly to think I could have an opinion about a man in one encounter, but my first impression was certainly positive. One more thing, I've only been alive for 36 years but so far my life has taught me to watch out for the folks who quietly sneak around FAR MORE then people who speak their mind openly.

    • @ShotgunMikey

      Rev2DaLimit get ready you'll probably have to block some people lol. All some people will know is a short clip from his pack you bag video and never bother to watch any of his other material. I've never met him. But I believe him to be the real deal. You did him justice in this interview hopefully this will be a big video for you. It's got Yeager on it the haters are coming so be ready lol

    The awesome thing here is that he says if you take fighting pistols and go home and apply what you learn consistently it's the only class you'd ever have to take BUT I promise you'll want to come back for more and even repeat classes you've had because it's that good.

    This was a great interview. I'd always thought he was an interesting guy and enjoyed watching some of his UA-cam videos here and there. Then I met him briefly at Shot Show. My camera went down on me and like 3 minutes after meeting James he was offering to let me borrow one of his cameras. Just seemed like a really solid, good guy. I have it on my bucket list to get out there and take Fighting Pistol.
    Cheers my friend. Thanks for posting this.

    For real tipped me over to Yeager. I had respect for his skills and knowledge but assumed he was a dick I am happy to have a better perspective. Smart for him to be him just so much easier.

    • @Rev2DaLimit
      @Rev2DaLimit  7 років тому +1

      Glad to hear it. Yeager is a good dude for real. However, if he wasn't, would it really matter if he knows how to train effectively?

    • @stompnu1
      @stompnu1 7 років тому

      Rev2DaLimit I would not train with anyone I for sure knew was a dick . I try not be around these people .
      This kinda clears shit up .

    • @Rev2DaLimit
      @Rev2DaLimit  7 років тому +1

      I hear ya. My point is simply that training with someone (in my opinion) is primarily tied to their competency teaching a particular fighting skill set. In this case however (again in my opinion) James Yeager is good dude AND an effective trainer.

      Rev2DaLimit that's because there is no sarcasm button on the internet. The second line was snarky,apologies but I was deaf in one ear at the time of my posting. That's why i posted statement as a question. Good stuff though.

    James is still in his formative years of gun handling. He hasn't learned safety procedures most people learn on day one.
