I am a revert Muslim since 2008, I happened to watch a documentary about Dr. Afiya, and believe me it shooked me inside, I cried like anything, I was making dua for her, and whenever I think of her it brings tears to my eyes I make dua for her afiya.

The best answer Dr fozia gave is, its not about people not having a clue its that people just dont care... you can see the interviewer face. Muslims dont care because its not affecting their lives change doesnt happen with out a reveloution , Allah does not change someones condition until they dont change what is within themselves, May allah free our sister Aafia and wake up this ummah from cowardice and selflessness.

The American govt took her away on the basis of 9/11 terrorist attacks in USA and this info was given by her husband which may be false.The American govt also might have took her away as she was the most brilliant scientist and doctor graduated from an American university and by some articles it is also heard that she developed a formula which American govt was eyeing so they gave her an offer but she refused so the American govt. took her away on his husband's dialogues so they could also get that formula but they hadn't found it till now
