I don't think it is made for 1440p. Honestly, I think for slower-paced games, yeah go for 1440p otherwise, stick to 1080p with it. It feels to me like the 3060 ti would be a much better option for 1440p though, to be frank. The only thing the 4060 has going for it is DLSS3 and FG. Also, how come your voice sounds so much better in your gameplay recording than it does in your normal recording?😂
Thanks for the input. DLSS3 is certainly its huge selling point. And yeah I need to work on my mic situation 🙂 I record with my phone and don’t have a dedicated mic for it. The voice overs were done with a condenser mic so it sounds better
Was thinking getting a 4060 it 16 gig to build my first gaming pc for 1440. Mainly just play single player games. I this a huge jump from a ps5? Would it be good for 5 years? I was lookimg into a 4070 super build build but it would cost me like 2500 Canadian. The 4060 it 16. Something like 1500.

This is disappointing. With the performance last gen showed at this resolution, I really thought 1440p would become the new FHD in this generation. Just compare 1440p monitor prices to a few years ago. Everything is primed and Nvidia has the technology to do it. They just decided to be greedier and greedier.

I agree, nothing wrong with DLSS. I use it if it’s available, but it is not available in all games which is why I think people like to see raw performance comparisons

It's a weird GPU. I went from a 1650 super to a 4060 and even I'm not blown away by the difference so I can totally see why ppl with any rtx card is saying the 4060 is not worth it. For me it unlocked the ray tracing and dlss along with had low tdp for my MSI trident so I don't have a lot of options for upgrade. For reference I went from 80 to 90 fps on medium to high setting in palworld with the 1650 to now the same fps but bumping setting around high and ultra but being stuck at 1080p ultra isn't very stunning so idk if it was worth it.
@@Tomsk80 ur not wrong about the eye sight. 1080p hurt my eyes while trying to focus on small details in games like battlefield V and warzone so I switched to 1440p which of course looks so much better and is something I definitely couldn't have done with the 1650s.

@PetesParts16 hey! Have you used DLSS3 In the games you played?
This is fine “causal gamer” and 1080p card. I still believe it’s a 4050 though, with Nvidia moving the product stack down one tier.
Seems that way. They are more focused on upscaling and AI at this point
Well would be right, the sku of rtx 4060 is ad107 … 107 is also the code for gtx 1050
Then the 4050 would be a 4040💀💀
