Oh nice, the big show at "Radio Shack" on Simpson Ave. in Aberdeen (or Scaberdeen, as we jokingly called it, lol). It was only like a block and a half away from my Grandmas' house. I was born in Aberdeen, but grew up in Montesano, where Kurt ended up living and going to school, after his folks divorced, except I was about ten years behind him. Even found a book (Dante's Inferno), that Kurt had checked out of the school library, (which I kept). The Melvin's even rented a house in my neighborhood just a few miles outside of Monte (as locals call it) and drove an old white Dodge van, which had a big "Kiss" mural on it with drawings of all four members, which I discovered (after reading the book about Nirvana, called "Come As You Are"), that Kurt had stolen the markers from Thriftway in Monte, to draw it for them and it was really well done. I even know the guy, who bought that van for cheap, which he thankfully parked where it was covered by a roof. Ok, blah blah, done.

Airborne Kurt! I don't dislike any of his work; even my least favorite has that Cobain authenticity that demands attention . His lyrics + raw guitar distortion + intensity = Eternal rock icon.
Love this!!!!!!!! So passionate, Raw, and totally real!!!!!! Vocals so raw almost seemed to be Kurts version of Primal Therapy!!!!! So young here huh? So sweet and intense!!! He was a true sensitive soul and never wanted to confront this side of his life. He was a believer, yet never learned he did not have to go and be religious or get religion to just accept and be loved for just being him. He was!!!!! No one is perfect! If only Kurt truly realized this he would be here today!!!!! He was loved! He is in heaven today! Not for the things he did. But just because he believed. Religion keeps you in Bondage! @@christianmartin7692 Yes, Kurt hated this song "The first song on the demo is no longer played it is sickening and dumb. Destroy it it is evil. In the likes of Whitesnake and bon jovi."
The first time I heard this was on my Older Brothers copy of Outcesticide 1. We were separated as kids through a divorce and unfortunately rarely saw each other. He picked me up from High School early to go see Marilyn Manson with Hole (ironically, who had already dropped off the tour 1998?) Anyway I partied with him and his older College friends and felt like I was in the big leagues. He let me borrow this album and unfortunately I still have it, it was the last time I saw him alive. This song carries a lot of weight for me, I was completely blown away getting to hear "new Nirvana." To think, Kurt hated this song.
This is a very cool song and I really wish that they would have kept writing songs like this but you know the unfortunate tragedy of this band is that the media and society as a whole pretty much popularized this band to death and I think that's what Kurt Cobain was so upset with the fact that this band pretty much became like a t-shirt or just like an idea and not something physical and spiritual that he really wanted it to be that it was in the beginning it just all became corporate which it pretty much still is today you still see young kids that haven't even heard in Nirvana song let alone were even born at that time wearing shirts or whatever you get the point
Like poetry it’s not for everyone, some people are simple and hollow. This was for the true artist and so much dept and passion. If you don’t get it it’s ok. Go watch a game of baseball and cheer for the winner and boo the looser
Radio Shacks were awesome back then. Especially when you're a kid making a little money trying to piece together a reasonably decent stereo system. I still have the same setup I bought in the late 80's very early 90's.
Как будто Курт с Крисом зашли в магазин электроники и музыкальных инструментов. Их встретил продавец консультант и тут они решили зарубить песню Курта. Продавец сел за ударные!! 😂
I think it's cool that kurt hated dave grohl, turned out grohl is exactly one of those type people kurt was trying to rid the world of so kurt was prescient...
