I remember going back and forth with the leasing office over my first apartment. I had to break lease early because of unliveable conditions and it was a struggle! I didn’t get my full deposit back, but I did have peace that I didn’t have to be bothered with them no more. Coincidentally, it was a week before Christmas 2022 and I was up for a new job too so God was definitely moving things in the background. I’m still looking for my dream apartment so I’ve been saving whatever I can until the time comes. There are times where I’m frustrated with how things turned out, however I’m realizing that it’s for my good and that I’ll get one heck of a lesson out of it.
