Lots of koalas around,,we saw 27 of them during our hike last sunday around the Adelaide Hills.
They are out and about that is for sure! 27 is a wonderful lot of koalas 🤗
Are there any houses for sale there? I prefer a home with koalas in the yard. 27 is perfect. :)
They're so beautiful and healthy :) This is so nice to see after the last 3 months of bushfire footage :'( I'm so glad some parts of Aus were completely unaffected by the fires. Koala joeys are some of my favourite things in life
It has been a horrendous couple of months for a lot of koalas, I’m thankful the fires didn’t reach us 🐨
They are our proud and joy yet we are losing so so many of them,we should be more attending to these guys,their aussies just like us,please tell me we will do better.

@@Koalafication I'm so glad they survived the fires, and you and your family, as well. I can't begin to imagine how frightening that must have been. But you have koalas you are caring for, and that's really so wonderful of you, especially after so many were slaughtered on KI, along with so many kangaroos and other animals. It really broke my heart. I've become friends with Katrina Jeffrey at Koala Gardens in Tuckarimba, NSW. She says private landowners who make their properties koala friendly will be the ones who help koalas survive and thrive. So, that's you! I'd love to live like that, having koalas hanging out in my yard. Have koality tea parties, tee hee!💖💖💖💖💖💖🐨

@@DanielaPerez-yp1gb Did I not tell you? I'm so sorry! NSW is the abbreviation for New South Wales, the state Katrina lives in. If you see VIC, that's the state of Victoria, QLD is Queensland, NT is Northern Territory, SA is Southern Australia and WA is West Australia. There are a few more, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.
Katrina is the conservator of Koala Gardens, which is a wild koala sanctuary. It is the only one of its kind. She maintains her property specifically for the koalas that call her trees home, and is there to protect them, as well.

I heard that Koalas are very territorial. If there's a koala living in one tree they will get mad if another one tries to climb it.

I looked at flights to visit ‘down under’. The cost for us would be over 20k. I just hope I live long enough to save the money & have just one visit.

Impossible. For just one person, it would cost around $300AUD for going to Japan and that's really far away
@@Adam19811 I think they are including accomadation and all that, probably trying to stay in a major city of some kind (correct me if I'm wrong)
@@dewgone9577 A major city would not be ideal if you wanna connect/see koalas and other wildlife... Plus there are countless backpacking facilities and airbnbs man. Shouldn't cost nearly as much as 20k
