大龍蝦裝修和碗碟等都十分美觀,走高級路線,但出品和服務都不能配合,只是茶餐廳服務水平. 有硬件,冇軟件,真可惜!
只適合做遊客生意. 本地人試過便知龍與鳳.
My resident is 980 km away, I still realize the food quality gone downhill, 食物和價格 value 走下坡, 我1/2023 spent 150 by myself during lunch, returned 4/23 spent 160, then dined there again on 3/24 for another $160, 8/24 $220 for 4 people at lunch , the quality of the lobster worser because I 覺得油不像從前那樣 high quality… 🙏
以這個价錢,很多食肆都能食到比它更好更豐富的海鮮套餐了!
它的前身的避風塘炒法的確很有水準,但發跡以後,就大不如前,现在的避風塘炒法變得不論不類,若然想留住班識食家,就应該給兩個選擇:銀魚仔伴碟/薯条
還有,甜品唔好係馬卡龍之類啦!

We just had a king crab dinner set in this restaurant 2 months ago and the meal is really delicious. We are little surprised of the price though since we never expect the king crab is that pricey.

粵菜(香港)所謂「上湯焗龍蝦」或「上湯牛油焗龍蝦」等做法是將龍蝦上薄粉「走油」,然後用一勺上湯下鑊再冚蓋「焗」至收汁勾茨上碟;傳統做法沒有加放腿絲,個人認為乃畫蛇添足之作;至於「油泡」,通常是不上粉的。
我想表達嘅係…佢整到一滴湯水都冇…根本唔係上湯整法😒感覺被菜單欺騙
@@TorontoHKger正如上述的製作解釋,「上湯焗龍蝦」是沒有湯水、湯汁,此名堂只在解釋菜式的製作方式,一如「上湯灼露笋」,上桌時不會有湯在盤中,而只有一層「琉璃薄獻」在露笋之上。

久違了,喜歡你有話直說,請問龍𧎚是4.8 磅,那 0.8 磅超重是收費若干? 我去過大龍蝦在Woodbine 的舊址,平平無奇,沒有驚喜,超磅龍蝦要付錢。 我個人偏愛薑蔥龍蝦,加粉絲放底,雖然師傅也會「走油」,但是應該沒有蘸過粉漿之後在油鍋炸。 漁膳房是西式裝修,用淺色,份外覺得光猛醒神,這也是我個人的意見。有朋友上星期曾經光顧這間新開幕的大龍𧎚,感覺招呼不太理想。
0.8 磅多收了廿多元,埋單時見到。龍蝦和蟹都走油加咗好多厚粉,我估你叫個清蒸都一樣會咁做🤣
August 我地六人七磅龍蝦餐、有魚有蟹、可能 太旺、尤蝦冇窩氣、候青班炸乾、炒飯不熱、係個湯可以、失去水準這樣的餐

I find restaurants like this to be more for showing off and flexing one's wealth.
However, $330 is reasonable. I went to fishman house and spent $500 for 2 (with king crab but sans grouper and sucking pig.)
Nevertheless, good video.

We live in Australia. We visited Toronto last summer and the Big Lobster was very disappointed. The service was terrible especially compared with other restaurants in Toronto. The worst restaurant we have visited during our visit last year.
I suggested to the manager of the Fishman's Cubhouse to use fried thin onion strips instead of French fries at one time, but was dismissed without any thought, not open to constructive criticism. Onion strips dusted with cornstarch and not with a heavy coating like onion rings would make a good approximation of the little fish with a tiny fraction of the cost.
@3:57 The meat of the suckling pig was said to be too firm. She probably prefers meat so tender that it falls off from the bone, as opposed to most Chinese that prefers meat to have some texture with a bit of a bit.
@5:47 Not poached in soup. Unless it was twice cooked, deep fried with cornstarch dusting after blanched in soup.
This was a very good suggestion, too bad they don’t take it to the chef.
As for the suckling pig’s comment, each person has his/her own preference but at least altogether will provide an overall perspective to viewers.
We were there about 1 week ago. We selected the items instead of the package deal. The same type of fish was cooked right on the side and the middle was uncooked and we got the fish bounced back to the kitchen and it came back well done (not to our liking). One of our dish supposed with melon and dry scallops, instead that we got a LOT of bean thread noodle with very little threaded melons and almost invisible dry scallion. May be because we ordered the less selected items - then the service became the worse? The service was terrible, food was bit cold when serve and it is hard to get service for payment (they wanted CASH or debit card ONLY). The ONLY positive thing about this place is the Chrysanthemum tea - it has a lot of flavor. It is too expensive.

新裝修黑暗料理感覺大不如以前😂估計老闆急於賺回裝修費,出品大打折扣,兩只花雕蒸蟹軟淋淋,唔係好新鮮,硬掘12%服務費仲要只收現金👎以後唔會再去
