About the 1099s - many brokerages are waiting for information from the companies in their portfolios. They can't tell you what they don't know. If I log onto Fidelity, they say: "Your form is delayed because we're waiting for information from XXXXX, XXXXX, and 6 more issuers."
I agree the target-date funds are dogs (no offense, Pablo) that will lead to a lot of grief and recrimination.

Same for me (Fidelity) ... international funds ... mine are supposed to be available 02/15; we'll see.

My only concern is the impact of taking withdrawals from your portfolios when the market is down. That would have a huge impact on your overall retirement. If you hold cash back in another bucket, you could wait to withdraw from portfolio until market is up vs selling when market is down. Not sure this tool is able to let you “pass” on a monthly payout, and pull from cash until market goes back up. Make sense?

I want to like this service but how do you justify the large cash allocation required?
Josh, Micheal Kites did an article a few years ago about "Proportional withdrawal performance" used properly that option "outperformed" more traditional-non-proportion seen in the past. IF I saved it I can email it too you, otherwise IT IS worth the read and possible Video of it's own (imho). CB Michigan :)
Etrade does not have there 1099s ready until 2-18 too. so it is normal i guess.

@@melvinmazda8374 I rather stick with SCHB and schg . They are more diversified in Interantional and reits... Average return less then the market....

Speaking of schwab do you or have you used either fidelity or schwab credit cards?
I have not
I use the Fidelity card. Thumbs up, but be aware it is not actually run by Fidelity.
The calculation you did of 500k for 30yrs at More Aggressive has DROPPED from 1920 per month DOWN to 1590 per month. Ouch!
This functionality coming to USAA soon?
