Excellent respect for the flag particularly at an age when it may not be cool.
I can say that in all the years I was stationed in the military, when it came over the intercom and I was really in pace, it may have irritated me just for a moment but then I remembered the wall…
Once, I pulled up and stopped outside a Kaserne in Germany with 5 or 6 other runners. We had not made it inside the kaserne yet ( Flak Kaserne)
We stopped turned towards the flag and saluted .
A German guy on a bike came riding by and said “ go home”!!!!
Good job ladies both in your training and your respect for your country.
