- Have you ever wondered what to do with all of those Crown Mimic Stones that you get from time to time besides turning them into a couple of gems so that you can save them up over the course of 4 years to eventually be able to afford a singular crown crate mount (it was flashy, so it was worth it)???
You can actually turn these BOUND (untradeable) items into gold by following the neat trick outlined in this video. In this ESO gold guide, I'll also quickly discuss a bunch of other relevant information, including how to get mimic stones, what style materials are, how to get style materials, and why style materials are valuable!

Ofc, happy to help! Selling gear used to be one of my most reliable means to make gold back in the day (the first videos I ever made were my chest farming routes haha), so I totally get what you mean.

What a neat trick! Im actually sitting on 498 mimic stones ive accumulated from playing over the past 8 years.. 💰💰 im about to go and see what i can create! Def stendarr stamps, ancient daedric, what else is in the top most wanted style materials? 🤔 Ive been busting my bootay selling stuff im at 4 mill on console but i hope this is alot easier than grinding for furnishings/motifs/gold mats..

Oh wow that's a lot of mimic stones 😅Yeah those pristine daedra hearts have been selling quite well in recent times because a lot of new, scary-looking furnishings require them (and lots of peeps were crafting those furnishings because of Halloween). Because those Apocrypha furnishings are still quite new, it wouldn't surprise me if that style material continued to be the most expensive one for a little while.
Yep, stendarr stamps are great, as are Ivory Brigade Clasps (those are required to craft Leyawiin-themed furnishings), but because the Gates of Oblivion event is taking place right as I am writing this, I would hold off on making those until some time later when their prices recover. Culanda Lacquer (needed to craft Summerset furnishings) also can get quite pricey; there was a point where I was selling them for 30k each and they were flying off the shelves. No gear in Summerset drops in the Sapiarch style, so it is one of the few style materials that actually CAN NOT be obtained by deconstructing gear. This, naturally, makes it a material worthy of its hefty price tag.

Does the level or quality of gear influence your chances of getting materials when deconstructing? Or can you craft lvl 1 stuff with the same results?
The quality or level of your gear will not influence your chances of receiving a style material when you deconstruct said gear, so you can craft lvl 1 stuff if you'd like.

Even if you are not able to receive twitch drops on your console account, you can still use this trick with any of your other mimic stones that you get from all other sources! I personally use my mimic stones from twitch drops for gems, and I still have plenty of other crown mimic stones to use for this trick!

@@dragonpro7484 Ah, everything will be fine. The entire premise of this neat little gold strategy revolves around using mimic stones for their intended purposes (replacing style mats).
The tldr of this video is have at least one style piece learned of the material you want, make that item with mimic stones, break down that armour, sell the material
Smart people buyd the hole crown Store with in Game Gold aswell ALL playable maps and +1000 crown crates because of this bastard 🐈 (very low drop Chance)
Instead of eso plus Go without,. u dont need trashbag anymore, if u own 1 Guild by 500 inventory places and your Bank for example with 14 Charakters plus+ all housing boxes.
