My Neighbors Blueberry Pound Cake Recipe
2 Tbs butter *
2 ¾ cups all purpose flour
¼ cup sugar*
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter (softened)
½ tsp salt
2 cups sugar
2 cups fresh blueberries*
4 eggs (room temp.)
¼ cup all purpose flour*
Blueberry Pound Cake
1 tsp vanilla extract
• Preheat oven to 325°.
• *Grease 10" tube pan with 2 Tbs butter. * Sprinkle pan with ¼ cup sugar.
*Dredge blueberries with ¼ cup flour and set aside
• Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl and set aside
• In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• Beat in eggs one at a time then stir in vanilla.
• Gradually beat in flour mixture and combine well.
• Fold in blueberries and spoon batter into prepared pan. (batter will be thick)
• Bake in preheated oven for 70-80 minutes or until cake tester inserted into the center of cake comes out clean.
• Let cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn out onto wire rack and cool completely

I keep my patriotic decor out all Summer until the end of August. I love all the blue you are using especially in the baby’s room. I think I would leave his name in black on the little sign. I leave the patriotic up through July..inside and out. It takes a lot of effort for me plus time goes so fast nowadays try to hold onto what I can. ( Fall is my favorite season so looking forward to it.) I've watched a couple videos relating to Nancy Myers and love her style especially the house in the Hamptons! I have to have some wood and color but that is easy to add.

It seems as though so many youtubers were pregnant, and giving birth all around the same time. New moms think everything that their babies do is so cute, and think that their babies are cute in general. It puts a smile on my face, it's just so sweet and wholesome. Leaving my patriotic decor up through July. Casen is precious. Such a fun age. Does he like a walker? My boys walked at 9 months but our first grandson didn't walk until 15 months! I was so worried about him lol. But he took off.. your decor looks beautiful.

Just a suggestion, instead of repainting those pieces you mentioned, you might try adding touches of the blue with material as you did in adding his little framed onesie (brilliant idea btw). Maybe a quilted piece, gingham or solid material behind his name plague? You could do it in a shape of a square, oval, (I know you have cows) or animal shape behind/under his name plague? Also the lamp shade could be painted in the blue if you wanted to add color there. His room is almost as adorable as he. Always enjoy your decorating videos. P. S. I leave Americana up through Sept. 11, but you do you. Go with your gut.

You really do your research when coming up with decorating ideas. Every single thing in your life seems perfect.
