- Trash to Treasure Wine and Whiskey bottle decor. Join me in this video where I take old whiskey and wine bottles that would otherwise be headed to the trash bin and turn them into beautiful home decor pieces. I will be using my Silhouette Cameo 4, Iron Orchid Designs transfers, air dry clay and moulds to embellish and decorate these bottles.

Hi, coming from ther UK I love your accent. Great excuse re the wine :-) Thanks for the info and the links I hope I can get that stuff over here.
So beautiful
All of them, thank you for all the ideas.
Cute cute ideas.
Great way of recycling wine bottles.
Lots of fun ideas!!! The clear bottle with iod transfer of the pink roses was my favorite.
Mine too! I kept it
Love the wine/whisky vinyls. May have to do something similar for my bestie & her hubby.
Thank you. The blue ones sold the day I put them in my booth.
Hi, when I work on bottles I lay them on a bag of rice so it don’t roll around n it frees up both hands. 😊
Well done dear do more veidos
REALLY, CUTE !
Thanks!
I saw where on scrapbook paper you take packing tape & put on he back. Then, pull the tape off. It makes it easier to decoupage.
When decoupaging with thicker paper just dampen it first and it will bend around the curves and details better. You don’t want it soaking wet, just slightly damp.
Thank you! That makes sense.
@@susieonthefarm You’re welcome. 😊 As a fellow crafter I hate seeing others suffer or struggle with their projects. So if it’s something I’ve learned I love to pass on the information. And since I’ve been doing it for so long and have done so many things , if I can help someone else… 😜
loved all , I love the ones with the birds mostly
Susie, these look awesome! I would not have thought to do this. You have been blessed with a lot of creative skills. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks so much 😊
Fantastic! The shabby chic decoupage bottles
I love this
Thank you
Hi Susie, I would give you ten thumbs up if I could!! They all looked so great I can't decide my favorite 🍾🍸
I thought they were unique! loved them all.....🌻💐🌻
Love them all.
What a clever artist you are Susie! Love them all.
Thank you so much!
All were my favorites
What a great idea!!
Love them all
Could you have used tape on back to pull off the white paper. I have seen someone do that but not sure if it will work on scrapbook paper, do you know?
Probably. That's a great idea.
I love the roses. Where did you get them?
Those are from the IOD Ephemeral Melange transfer book. They are so pretty.
l love all the bottles, my favorite is the blue one, Do you sell them in your booth , l went to a craft fair a couple of weeks ago and a couple had made and sold a lot of decorated bottles and books wrapped in beautiful cloth, the lady told me, that she sold most of her pieces to people who decorate in homes for sale. Their wares were priced kind of low, like 3to 5 dollars each.
I'm going to stick a few of them in my booth and see how they do. The ones with more product like transfers and moulds i'm pricing at $6 I think.
Where did you get that denim jacket🥰
Maurices I think.
My first day of researching Crafting. What a great find to run into your UA-cam. It looked like you were making your own vinyl transfers (I'll be your glass of wine/shot of whiskey) at home on a printer. Is that correct? any special printer or the vinyl paper? thanks very fun stuff....
Thanks Jerry! I was using a Sihoutte Cameo vinyl cutting maching for those vinyl transfers. But there are lots of ways to get words onto your projects that I highlight on my channel. Thanks for watching!
What kind of clay & molds did you use? Was the clay glued while still soft? Beautiful!
I use IOD Clay and Moulds. And yes for curved surfaces you need to glue while the clay is still soft so it will dry curved. Thanks for watching !
