It’s a strike between protection and aesthetics, any fool can look at it and know that. I had a Pitaka on my iPhone 13 Pro and everyone said it wasn’t offering any protection. Two and a half years later my iPhone 13 was absolutely immaculate, looking like new without a mark on it when I traded it in. This Rebel case is awesome and I love it over any case I’ve ever had. It feels great in my hand and like I’m holding the bare phone. With the thick bumper corners and high edges it keeps my privacy glass screen protector safe. I wouldn’t recommend the Arc. Overtime they become loose and fall off.
Good take, I agree. But I have to mention everything, as this is a review. I also have the Arc Pulse, but don't have any issues of it being loose or falling off. I'll keep an eye out for it, though. Thanks for letting me know
I'm hesitant to go with phone rebel ever since both my cases for the 13PM split. I rotate between cases often and both my Flex and the regular case split. It was past the 12 month warranty and they were not going to do anything about it. I think I'll stick to full piece assemby from now on.
Ive dropped my iphone many times with this rebel flex case and 0 damage to my phone. Very impressed with this minimalist looking case. The bumps are placed perfectly. Only change would be to make the usbc port a little bigger to fit more types of cables
Had my phone rebel gen 5 since release day and have all the extra coloured camera protectors and not once as my camera ring screws come loose. Perfect case for me and I’ve dropped my phone loads and not one scratch on it. Also all my anker cables fit fine as well as the apple ones but I mostly use anker 3 in 1 to charge my phone
Currently rocking it love the feel of the case and has protected my phone, coming from a regular pro I need a case that minimize thickness of the max sides and this does it spectacularly while protecting it, only a week with it so I will add details if I can
I think you’ll like the Flex then. Try the Arc Pulse. I think you might like that. I have a video on it, but you can also find some drop tests on UA-cam with the Arc Pulse. It protects the phone well I only where you need it. The rest is the caseless feel. Check the videos out.
@@garethalston The metal ring still transmits more shock to the back glass than a plastic ring. That small layer of TPU underneath the ring will help but not by much. No annual EAP drop test for the Gen 5 this year, a break in tradition. I suspect this is why
Have had 14 and 15 variants. Not a big fan. Dust gets stuck on the sides b/w phone and case. In addition, a drop on the back will shatter the back glass bc camera ring is metal and is in direct contact with back glass of phone.
I have phone rebel gen 5 and no metal touches the back of the phone. All the screws are screwed in below the surface and camera ring as plastic on back so as I said no metal ever touches your phone on back.
It is hard plastic. Drop your phone on its back…….you will see……shattered back! This is NOT just Rebel issue…it is across the industry from Otterbox to many other famous brands. There IS a reason why Apple lines the inside case with felt and why the Apple Clear case ring plastic is NOT in contact with back glass.
@@madtiger7955 my phone been dropped over 25 times already from different heights and every time there is no mark on it. Now granted every phone can break mate that’s nothing new

@@Brians_tech any signs of falling off with the Arc Case?

Good to know. Thank you!
I have the gen 5 and I like it , it’s a pity they don’t make it for the 15 this year the flex nice review 👍
Yeah the flex doesn’t come for the 15 or 15 plus, for some reason. Thank you!
Heard this case got the best buttons ever.
😂😂 stop it

Just saw Andar using your vid for their instagram ad 🎉💪
Lol yeah that was cool to see!
Metal camera ring is a feature that no one ask for…esp if it contributes to back glass shattering.
Metal camera ring as plastic on back so no metal touches the phone

So the inside of the case is just plastic where the camera ring is. The metal is recessed so it shouldn't scratch the camera ring.

The adhesive on the edges will let go the case after 1 year. This case is a disappointment.
