Why? Vintage look is such a beautiful look. You're bag looks like a replica now. Sorry. Hate when people think dyeing their bags are ok. It depreciates the value and reputation of the brand. 🤦🤦🤦 I also own this bag, and will never destroy it like you did. Now it looks "cheap". Just my 2 cents
I think if you use opaque, bright dyes, it could look a wee bit naf, but especially if the original vacchetta is in sub-par condition, a good dye job can work wonders. I've dyed many vintage LVs and I'm surprised at how great they turned out (in my opinion, of course!)

I did applied 2 coats and the paint hold up pretty good.
