I prefer the classic light blue over the intense or forever it lasts long enough for me just around 2 hours with nice projection and I always get complimented on it and it lasts around 8 hours closer to my skin. Just my personal experience and preference based on where I live and the climate.
Forever was an instant love for me - I absolutely adore realistic citrus notes and this one has a level of longevity which is really rare. I'm going to be wearing it all summer 2022
Light blue forever opening is truly amazing in my opinion! the fragrance last 10 hours plus on my skin and it's even better in extreme heat! I totally disagree with you guys on this fragrance 🙏🏾
Light Blue Forever is Magical. It takes me back DIRECTLY to pulling out a grapefruit from the tree we had in the dead of summer. Slicing up the grapefruit and taking a refreshing bite. Forever is completely amazing 😍😍
Sometimes test strips, don't allow a fragrance to show it's true self. I remember smelling a few fragrances, including phantom. On a test strip phantom smelled like a hot nasty mess. A few months later I got a sample in a spray bottle and it smelled amazing. I love it and it is one of my favorite fragrances I own.
I definitely give Eau Intense the nod. It's just great; very versatile. That being said, Forever is in my personal Top 5. It's the only fragrance I own that lasts over 10 hours and never changes scent on my skin. It's all grapefruit. I wear during Summer when it's really hot and/or humid and blend with Blue de Chanel parfum during fall and winter.
I have the D&G LB Intense and it's very light smelling scent and doesn't last as long. I also have the LB Forever I love it, it's very riney in the start, it will last on my skin which has been hard for scents to last on me. Forever 5 stars Intense 4 stars.😊
The grapefruit in Light Blue Forever lasts& lasts.I love it😍🤣🤣..Light Blue Sun departs , from the regular DNA it smells creamy ,coconut ish and sunscreen like .I like the novelty.Light Blue Intense is excellent , the original doesn't hold up Light Blue love is Love has a apple and icecream note, very underated but good.
I have and loved light blue and intense, the Forever is by far my favorite now it took few days to get used to the scent but once I started rocking it and its absolutely amazing my favorites summer fragrance as well
I have the original Light Blue and Eau Intense, love them both. Have smelled Forever and I CANT WAIT to get it and wear it this summer. I’ve smelled it a few times and for me that realistic grapefruit is just amazing. I get that it’s not for everyone but I absolutely love it!

From Malaysia, Light Blue Forever works pretty well in high heat, has a very realistic Grapefruit scent and dry down into something very soft and likeable. I guess some people doesn't like the very realistic Grapefruit opening, but it definitely one of my favorite, but Light blue eau intense is my second favorite from D&G Blue line, with the middle sea note, very wearable for most occasion as it is almost summer the whole year in Malaysia 😆
Its not that the grapefruit isn't realistic and beautiful the problem is the scent is ONLY grapefruit (10% vetiver at the end) How is that artistic and deserve so much praise? Its insulting to me they didn't put more into it. Like you might as well get a bath and body grapefruit body spray- this scent belongs in a candle not a person. LB intense is stunning- complex summery salty masculine sexy. That is how you compose a fragrance.
Just picked up a bottle of forever. It’s definitely the sharpest citrus I’ve ever smelled. Period. My thing is that it’s essential to wear this in the heat of summer. The more it heats up the better it smells. It’s an acquired taste for some for some an instant masterpiece. I like a lot personally but test before trying!!!
Light Blue Swimming in Lipari has to be the best, it the perfection of a salty fresh summer scent. Regarding Forever you have to get trough the opening, after that it opens up and turns into a beautiful scent in my opinion
I bought the Intense version and i wouldnt even bother smelling anyother in that line, i had the OG years ago but didnt have the understanding of frags as I do now but Intense for me, couldnt be bothered even wasting my time with the others
Many youtubers hyped Light blue Forever, but I really don't get the hype. It literally smells like grapefruit juice and not in a good way. Eau intense smells much much better.
I think Light Blue Forever is definitely my favourite, Eau Intense smells like a chemical cleaner to me. Light Blue Forever has similarities to Terre D'Hermes to me. I think you needed to include more of the flankers, theres been quite a few since Eau intense. Fragrance is all about opinion though so I do understand why people love Eau Intense but it's not for me.
Interesting to see all the different responses here. Light Blue intense definitely had a chemical smell for a brief second when I first smelled it but then i got used to it and now I only smell the oceany grapefruit and it’s addictive
I’m a bit late to the party. I’ve been using Light blue intense for the past 6 years, it’s by far my favourite scent. Last year I got Light blue EDT Italian Love. Totally different scent but I love it. I get a bunch of compliments for both. I have to try the original. I hope they won’t discontinue Light blue, cause I definitely want it to stay a part of my collection forever.
If you haven't tried Light Blue Sun be aware it's really really nice! I think it was the first flanker that really drifted away from what Light Blue is about. It has nothing salty or oceanic about it, it has a tropical feel with the coconut, it's ozonic, there's some cypress and a touch of vanilla. I like the sun lotion feel it has, worth the while.
You are right! I bought it for my dad from duty free, but after opening there bottled i used it more than him! And the first thing i did after coming back from there to order and extra 125 ml bottle for myself! And sadly sun is now discontinued
Light blue intense smells much better on the skin/in the air than it does on the paper. Almost completely different i'm told. My girlfriend HATES it on paper but is obsessed when it's on my skin lol.
I’ve noticed when I smell things on paper and prefer one over the other it’s usually the opening when I wear them, for instance Acqua di Giogia vs Ocean - my husband and I prefer the green Acqua on paper but the ocean on my skin. In fact he said Ocean was flat out boring and plain on paper but sweet on me.
Completely agree with your take on Forever. I like the smell of grapefruit a lot, and Forever does smell like grapefruit, granted, but "realistic" proper, nope, sorry. I suggest to smell Taylor of Old Bond Street's Grapefruit Shaving Cream. That is a gentle yet to me completely realistic smell of grapefruit. Not only not offputting, but actually and literally mouth-watering. My mouth does water when I smell it. As if there was a grapefruit icecream in front of me. When your senses get fooled that way, now that is realistic. Some people get an offputting sweating smell from Forever. I don't get that, but don't find it realistic anyway. Just a like, not a love for sure. Light Blue Eau Intense however for me is a Dislike. There is something I find fishy and offputting in its aquatics. Have tried it several times over the years, nope, not for my nose.
Everyone in the comments love Light Blue Forever and I agree with them, Forever smells way better than Eau Intense, I own 4 Dolce and Gabbana fragrances including The One, Forever, Pour Homme and Eau Intense, I have asked friends, coworkers and family which one they like and they chose the one as their favorite, then Forever, then Pour Homme and Eau Intense last, Monika's husband has weird taste buds, in a past video he recommended Lalique Pour Homme Equs which smells horrible, Pour Homme Lion is better.
Monika I truly love your videos and I think you and your husband complement each other so well....(moving on) Light Blue forever is sooooooo good I find it so amazing, but this is why I love your channel, your opinions are really honest and I know that I can trust them because you do not follow the crowd!
I smelled Dolce and Gabanna Light BLue Forever when it first came out. I was ready to purchase but glad I went to Macys to smell the fragrance first! I did not like the way it smelled at all. Like you guys said, it definitely has an off putting smell to it.

Light Blue Forever is the only one I like out of these three. The other two are too salty. Scandal isn't great either, I liked it at first and soon realised it's not all that much better than PR Phantom (which it smells similar to).

The original smells fine to my nose, the intense has a bleach? note smell that turned me off. Forever is a little much up close but at a distance reminds me of a lighter Profumo with citrus instead of aquatics.
Indonesian • I think when compared, the original smells better than eau intense but loses in terms of performance, oh god, the intense smells fishy at first, and I often ask to my friends, the intense scent is very good when it's dry down, btw forever I'll try it 😂 sorry for bad english
I thought I was crazy about LBForever because my reaction when I smell it first was EXACTLY the same as yours! I don't know why some people love this, is awful to me.
I noticed something about the bottle of dolce and gabbana light blue eau intense you have. There's a sticker on the bottom instead of the engraving into the bottle itself. I just purchased a bottle at the macys store and macys had to order it for me and have it shipped to my house. My bottle has the exact same sticker and I've been researching online and it's fake. According to the internet the dolce and Gabbana light blue eau intense 6.7oz parfum is supposed to have etched labeling on the bottom of the bottle and a sticker automatically means its counterfeit.
I did not like the light blue eau intence way to salty for me, I gave it away three quarters full. All other fragrance reviews said italian love and forever where the best but discounted to fast I did not get chance to try them both that came out 2021 and 2022. come on d&g give us a chance to try them.
So far Pour Homme is the only D&G that does not smell absolutely foul to me but i've actually never smelled Light Blue Forever. I also dont' have an issue with grapefruit. I like grapefruit. But i love Pour Homme. Intense smells rancid to me but i have the exact same stench from Dylan Blue, ADG Profumo, JPG Le Beau and I can't figure out what it is. I'm wondering if i just have an issue with bergamot. But i also wasn't that fond of Eros and i don't think it has bergamot listed in the top notes. Also These all reeked on skin and on paper so i'm not sure if it was just my skin chemistry. Also, i noticed it on the dylan blue on different days far apart. the others i haven't tested more than once in a store.
I have all three, Forever is my least favorite. I appreciate the realistic grapefruit sent but I don't actually want to smell like I spilt some on myself. I do enjoy the dry down but it is so faint that nobody would ever smell it on you.
i don't get why any man would want to smell like straight up grapefruit when grapefruit isn't even that much of an appealing scent compared to lemon or orange or any other citrus fruit. it's honestly the most overrated fragrance out rn.
Great vid ! IMO forever is so fowl in the opening and it lingers to long for my taste. Agreed with both of you, I don’t get the hype by others. I sold my bottle with the quickness 😆.. Eau Intense is my fave, and has always gotten me the most positive feedback and resonates with me personally.
Sorry but this Time totaly disagree whit our opinion, light blue forever is the best of the Line for me, the grapefruit IS Amazing in it and the performance is 10 plus hours
scent strips always smell terrible... you gotta spray it on your skin to know what it really smells like.... and they all smell different on different people.

I smelt light blue italian love and I agree it stinked to my nose the performance might be good but the smell sucks
So is this right for women too?
Sorry but this Time totaly disagree whit our opinion, light blue forever is the best of the Line for me, the grapefruit IS Amazing in it and the performance is 10 plus hours
Light Blue Forever and ever!
lets do this...
lmk what you think of
💕 Italian love 💕
scent strips always smell terrible... you gotta spray it on your skin to know what it really smells like.... and they all smell different on different people.
Today m gonna buy one for me 👍❤️
U forgot the light blue Italian version
