When the man laughs there is a distinctive chest rattle that you hear. I am not a doctor but that signals trouble. I hope he lives forever, but I don't think so. I know a little about advancing in age myself in that I am 81years old. Fortunately, for me I stopped smoking my pipe in the year 2000. Great video, great man featured here. I would trade places with him in a heart beat. Fortunately, my dog will last as about as long as I will so hopefully we will leave this earth together.
I noticed it too and recognize it very well. I'm not a praying man but I'm wishing you and your dog leave whatever this is together, but not for awhile yet
I can relate to most of Tim's experiences. Been living on my acreage in the woods in Colorado for over 20 years. I do have power and a well for water, 2 big game changers. Last night a couple days after a big snow I was out burning trash under a full moon lighting up the snow like daytime. When the moon shines through the pine trees it creates tree shadows in the snow ans a incredible experience. Hopefully Tim can recover and continue his journey.
Absolutely. He said that it was a Hilux which are not sold in the USA. The front end of his vehicle is a Tacoma which he said was a 2013 but his front end is not 2013 it’s much older). Also The Hilux front end is very different looking from the Tacoma. I think he is confused.
When he mentioned a PVC pipe like flying object, that’s when I realized he was speaking the truth, I’m a long haul trucker. On the 14th of August 2022 at 17:42 I was driving westbound on I-40 towards Flagstaff. I saw this cylindrical object floating over this white cloud. I turned on the CB radio and sure enough there were other truckers were seeing the same thing I saw. It was hovering on the cloud this one patch of cloud, the sky was clear. One minute it was there, a few seconds later it was hovering over the mountain tops near Flagstaff. All of the truckers were asking each other what we just witnessed. I’ve seen plenty of strange things over my 17 years on the road around the country including Canada and Alaska. I don’t know if it’s UFO or man made flying object.
Hi Logan 😊 I just found your channel and happy I did. I wish you much success. Keep being a platform for these people who want to share their stories, they are so interesting and inspiring. You do a great job interacting with them and with your editing 👏😊
Thank you so much! Tim is an amazing man with incredible stories, a wealth of information, and a kind heart. A northern Arizona lover myself maybe we’ll be neighbors one day. I would be lucky to meet him.
I grew up in Houston love Texas moved to the Chiricahua mountains in SE AZ several years ago! Tough at times but I’m happy on this homestead I’m building.
Wow, that was a great patient interview, allowing Tim to express his true feelings and outlook. I felt a bit sad for him as it felt like he was more stuck than in the place he would choose.
This is a great video. It really makes you understand the ups and downs of living off grid. I recommend this vid for anyone wanting to do this type of life. Watching this my heart goes out to this man. I live in phx and would like the opportunity to donate building supplies. Clothes. Etc to help make his dreams come true faster. It would be nice if someone donated a decent trailer to park there and maybe even a small tractor.
It'd be cool if he could get some supplies donated from some places that would throw perfectlly good lumber and building stuff or habitat for humanity usually sells cheap repurposed building supplies for people. I hope he can get it built before the winter which we are now approaching.
Enjoyed the visit with Tim, I too had cancer and im 3 years cancer free but when I was sick and going through cancer a hard part was accepting you dont have any control what is going to happen and It rreally turned out as good as possible so far but there are times you feel something a little differant and want to know whats going on ? is it back ? so it can be worriesome . Marijuana I dont want any but no thought of mine about whether someone else benfits from it my guess many do and little drawbacks from it of cource how its used matters but to each thier own. decision Yea like that truck too he says its slow with a v6 Im guessing 3 liter from back in the day . I had a 86 mazda std cab long bed back in day it wasent 4wd but bed was just under 8 ft like 7ft 10 I think took me 300k miles then got my new truck 09 ranger still have that at 208k miles only drive it around 500 miles a month now . I aint moving up off grid to North AZ but sure want to get there to explore a bit
Here in bernaliilo county New Mexico zoning will not allow off grid living they rather have folks living homeless on city streets, someone needs to investigate that dept for harassing land owners that pay taxes, but are not allow to use there properties.
I live in the high desert of Arizona also. I am closer to New Mexico. I love it and live close to this way of life. Great big hugs to your guest and the only thing is I would have liked to hear more about how and when he plants his crops for our short growing season
Pretty much the same here at my high desert outpost in northern Arizona. I'm going on my second winter and loving it off-grid. Everything takes a bit more effort, but being independent and free is worth it.
Thank you both for making this video. Proof once again a harsh and simple life can be and is fulfilling. Some find satisfaction in a high stress 60 hour week in a corporate setting. Others fine satisfaction in a life like Tim’s. Neither can judge or disparage the choices The other man makes.
Being a resident of the Phx, AZ metro area.. I've seen the same things! Long pipe like objects flying very high up, I've seen in broad daylight & recorded 1. The small lights at night I've seen also, moving unlike anything I know.. definitely not planes etc. They have flashed @me like a signal, it's like they know you see "them".. I've also seen 3 of them flying together in a triangle. We are definitely NOT alone!!
I'm in N Central Phoenix wife and I going in the pool at night about 8 years ago wife had just gone inside I was waiting for the dogs to go to the bathroom because of owls and Coyotes I usually stay out with them they are old small dogs. I was looking up in the sky I saw 3 dim orange glowing lights in a diamond formation flying west to east. Probably about 1000 feet high not too high there wasn't any noise it was about 2am in the morning. I ran inside called my wife who came out I pointed up to them and the 3 lights went out like they could see me. Friend at the time who was a pilot he thinks they were military drones some sort of stealth drone. They were flying about the speed of a typical police chopper. I know it wasn't Phoenix PD those blue and white ones are extremely loud. Weeks after that I did see other very dim orange lights moving in the sky almost no noise little whooshing sound at most. I think it was a classified project maybe a new helicopter that flies without making any noise. We are under class D airspace for KDVT but at night their tower shuts down it become un controlled airspace likely why these aircraft were flying through.
sadly dogs are on a different time line than us and must leave early, there is no better companion than your loveing loyal dogs especialy a lone senior, pink floyd did a song caĺled,,on the turning away, one of my favorites, there is a must watch claymation video done to that song, its a forgotton old man homeless on the street with his best doggie friend, seek out this video absolutly a must see, good luck to you tim, i amm senior with 3 dogs on small gulf coast homestead, thankyou logan for shareing
Fantastic video! Very thoughtful and pensive about life. It really connects to the humanity in all of us. You take your time in allowing us to get to know your guest.
I really admire him. I hope everything works out regarding his diagnosis. When I traveled in my travel trailer, I knew exactly how much water I would need for a week. It's so interesting how much you don't need when you live off the grid.
Steve is an gem. "One big ass ditch!" I would love to spend some time talking with this man. Thank you both so much and may God bless 🙏❣️ Iris and Little One 👋🐾
This man is living a good life. A hard life perhaps but nothing worth doing is ever easy. I’ve always loved the idea of living like Martin Riggs in Leathal Weapon when he’s at the beach in his trailer with his dog.
IN Laws lived on 40 acres in Colorado took many years to get the homestead like they wanted it by the time they got it all done they were in their late 60's early 70's. 6-7 years later had to move back to the city just too much to take care of nearing 80 years old. What I noticed was mud was a real problem unless you can pour concrete everywhere mud is bad always having to clean off boots and clothes cars are full of mud.
Very glad to have come across this video. I had looked at land where he is, but after watching this i think it would not be a good idea for me, a solo female. I appreciate the details of living out there. I wish him all the best ❤
Me too not full time I was thinking about just going up there a couple times a month !! But ya I wouldn’t want to get laser that is just mind blowing I think this guy should investigate it !!
Getting another dog might be a good idea! ❤I know losing an animal you love more than life itself is one thing…however, in time…there may be a little pup needing you as much as you need it!❤
Good story and great attitude! Enjoyed the video and the way you handled the whole situation. It didn't seem rehearsed or pressured. Humble and natural is the best for me! Thanks for sharing! Safe travels

Any update on Tim.
I could hear his lighter working off camera 48 seconds in.
Where is this property???
He should get a couple nomads renting a parking spot.
@xlander-jp1rd I would definitely rent a spot and help him with his structure. I'm a retired building contractor

Damn I love Tim! “That is one big ass ditch”😂❤

He's the real deal. My prayers for health and continued blessings. He's tough and resilient. He speaks the truth, we don't need much to be happy. ❤
I live in same area. It takes 960 gallons of snow to = 35 gallons of water. I have been here 4 years.

Hi just now viewing this. Please tell Tim that he should get access to soursop leaves for his prostate. My friend’s dad is completely healed.
How about a prostatectomy?

Unfortunately, if you die, the dog becomes stranded on his own and will likely soon die to predators or starve.

I like your attitude. You do need to slow down and appreciate everything.
Hi ! Thanks for the video!
On that land looks like no restrictions area ?..
Many off grid in Az needs required septic tank , and a house...but not there ?
There are a few counties in Arizona that are very lenient. Cochise County is one, I don't know the others but you can google I'm sure you'll find them
