The truck itself and the concept is great, but the dealership markup and all the nonsense that they added to bump it up almost an additional 10k is criminal. Let it rot on the lot
My windchill pearl arrived last week and I love it. $83K sticker, got it for $78K OTD. I know it’s too much for a truck, but have to treat yourself at some point. This is my two favorite trims in one truck. The leather quality is like nothing I’ve ever owned. Smells like my junior high baseball mit….
I like it but, NO WAY would I ever spend that much money on a 6 cylinder turbo Tundra! I’ll happily keep my 2020 Tundra TRD Pro! Only paid $53,400 new when I ordered it. Plus, it’s paid off! No payments and only 28,600 miles!!!!
I miss you Mark. I knew when I got my windchill pearl 1794 LE on the Friday before the eclipse that I would stop watching Tundra videos. All the hoopla gone but I do love my truck.
@TundraDude34: Thank you Michelle for filling in this week, excellent work. To me, this is better than the Capstone at the same price point. My local deal has one in Wind Chill Pearl and it looks nice but at $80,814 MSRP, it just seems out of reach for most. Good luck to all of you buying one, I hope you send Mark some photos of them to share with the group.
I think it's a great package - really like the understated look and all of the subtle details as you mentioned. Too bad the dealer had to molest it with the pin-strip, but I know this is common practice in NJ. Pretty cool also, the plaque in the interior has the actual number out of the 1500. We have a 40th Anniversary 4Runner and all of the plaques on those have "1 of 4040". Thanks to your wife for the walkaround!
Awesome truck and still my favorite Tundra, but I want it in a 6.5 foot bed. Also, for that price I think I am going with a King Ranch F-250 Super Duty.
I gotta tell you, I have my 21' 1794 and I'm loving that thing and keeping it until the day I die. But if I had the money, I would buy this one because I love the 1794 edition
Hi Mark, George from Miami here, I like the truck but the price is way way too hight, Dealers that nowadays stamp mark ups they should disappear but Dealers that put that stupid pinstripe should go to Hell and stay there. 🙃
Beautiful truck! The dealer mark up items are not anywhere near what they are charging. I don’t know how they can sell those add ons with a straight face.
The iforce max logo looks soo much better like that. I personally can’t stand the big ones. It would be good but they have no use. Sometimes less is more.
I like the raised badging for the I-FORCE MAX on top of the hood. To me makes more of a statement of this is not just your regular Tundra. The leather at least on the 1794 Limited Edition looks more orange than tan, at least in all the photos I have seen. In person I am sure it looks different.
I agree the 1794 is the truck I want. The problem is the hybrid system is a waste of money. It vibrates during acceleration it’s loud. I like and I drove the gas only smooth powerful 600 pounds less $4000 less and I can store stuff under the seats where the batteries would go. The problem is no one has one on the lot except for a mesquite brown color.
Wow very cool find I would bet if its there in 90 days $5000 off msrp would buy it but they gotta take their shot in case an "I got to have it" comes in...awesome truck but reg 1794 ain't chopped liver... if you think Toyota dealers are difficult try Porsche...try to walk in and buy a GT3 RS for sticker...Q1 how many Porsches have you purchased? Honestly if they had added the Mark Levinson stereo from the new GX550 Overtrail Plus and I could make a decent trade In deal I'd look at the LE.
I told you 6 months ago this truck would cost 100K to drive off the lot. Looks like I was about 5 K short after tax, tag, title, etc. Plus dealer mark up.
Black on Black Dark Chrome is kind of boring. Maybe the Ta8l Gate Emblem should be pronounced to be able to see it. Very Expensive for a Truck having No Glit😦 Being a Hybrid Only is a Big Negative 👎
There junk tired working on those dam trucks piling up here shop were replacing engines in those left and right an he hype it like they’re the best thing out here for that price up buy me a diesel. I’ll stick to my 2020 Tundra Run Circle around those damn things.
I own the capstone and I swear this truck still looks cheap to me. I bought a ram 1500 and there’s no comparison on the quality of how it’s built. Toyota Toyota are cheap. Show me the seat. I broke the seat on the damn thing three times and they wouldn’t fix it on under warranty, I’ll never buy another Toyota . I’m sorry, Toyota dude but I can’t buy another Toyota . They’re just not built well and they’re cheap. They used not to be that way.

Thank your wife Mark she did a great job. Thank you again for all the hard work you do.
I like the truck but for me it isn’t worth 80k, no way.
Of course that dealer added pinstripes! They have a sickness!
I got my 1794 LE at sticker in ND for $79130. Absolutely Love it
79 plus tax. 1500 dollar rebate. Midnight black. Couldn’t be happier. Number 821. Love it.
V6 Tundra? Are you stranded? Need a tow? Let me know, I got a V8 SR5 TSS Offroad.
I miss you Mark. I knew when I got my windchill pearl 1794 LE on the Friday before the eclipse that I would stop watching Tundra videos. All the hoopla gone but I do love my truck.

I wonder if that grille would look good on my black 2023 1794 that currently has a TDR Off-Road grille 🤔
Anyone who buys a truck from these clowns at that rip-off dealership must be insane.
Awesome truck and still my favorite Tundra, but I want it in a 6.5 foot bed. Also, for that price I think I am going with a King Ranch F-250 Super Duty.

I’m a Platinum guy, but that truck looks fantastic!
Got mine, wind chill pearl, 31 May, love the interior, but will say the Go Rhino E-Boards were better, enjoying it.

🤣🤣
Beautiful truck! The dealer mark up items are not anywhere near what they are charging. I don’t know how they can sell those add ons with a straight face.
Any update on the TRD performance package?
Still want a 6.5ft bed and tow mirrors😅
The iforce max logo looks soo much better like that. I personally can’t stand the big ones. It would be good but they have no use. Sometimes less is more.
Beautiful truck, although the price is insane. $20,000 more than what I’d pay, and I have a Tundra and have owned 10 Toyota automobiles.
I like the raised badging for the I-FORCE MAX on top of the hood. To me makes more of a statement of this is not just your regular Tundra. The leather at least on the 1794 Limited Edition looks more orange than tan, at least in all the photos I have seen. In person I am sure it looks different.
I like it. It looks great. I don't care how high the price is. It's free to like something!!!!!!!!!
I agree the 1794 is the truck I want. The problem is the hybrid system is a waste of money. It vibrates during acceleration it’s loud. Got my limited 1794; #688 for sticker price out the door (including tax and tag). Doing a video in a few days when the weather is better.
6 1/2' bed is a must for me
I love it. I wish we could get it in Canada
Love the truck itself! Great on Toyota for thinking of this interesting set up. The price, however, is tough to swallow! 😬
Wow very cool find I would bet if its there in 90 days $5000 off msrp would buy it but they gotta take their shot in case an "I got to have it" comes in...awesome truck but reg 1794 ain't chopped liver...

Now... if you could get the air suspension... with the locking rear diff
Ventilated seats?
Heated, ventilated, memory
Picture the new Tundra with the BIG BOY 5.7 v8. One can dream…
In a time of Turbos, it is hard to justify offloading my 2nd Gen.
Emblem yes and yes.
That added pinstripe on a limited edition should decrease the value.
What's up with the 80's pin striping? I'd get rid of that ASAP.
Beautiful truck, that black and dark chrome looks sweet! But why does Gateway Toyota put those pin stripes on?
Thats a NJ dealer thing. Many add them here
Absolutely loving #582
Black on Black Dark Chrome is kind of boring. Maybe the Ta8l Gate Emblem should be pronounced to be able to see it. Very Expensive for a Truck having No Glit😦 Being a Hybrid Only is a Big Negative 👎
Wish it was made in Japan, better quality out of Japan, paint, fit and finish
Why there is only one shark pin anthena?
Three fin setup is for the wifi trailer camera
Nice 👍 love it But No pinstripes Please haha 😂 price too high 👎 Thanks
I want it
Who actually goes to a dealer and thinks “wow a pinstripe! Great!!!”
Dealers a lost and people that pay for that are worse off.
Gorgeous truck but I would never pay that money.
Everything is Subtle except the price… Market Adjustments are back in Arizona. So ridiculous 😳😳😳
Wait, p/u one Toyota certified and maybe avoid the new truck hit.
I posted a video that has a full walk around and a look inside the new limited 1794
There junk tired working on those dam trucks piling up here shop were replacing engines in those left and right an he hype it like they’re the best thing out here for that price up buy me a diesel. I’ll stick to my 2020 Tundra Run Circle around those damn things.
80k… omg
Larger iforce max badge looks better.
Love it but wow it’s a lot of money
I’ll have to keep my platinum
Keep it at that price
Too bad this truck is limited edition, it would be great if it was offered as a production trim.
What number is it Lol
Are you Toyota salesman???
You must be out of your mind spending that kind of money on this truck nice truck, but that is a ridiculous price
Don’t worry that crap will wait for you till December
That’s too much money for this truck!
For 80k someone else can have it
I own the capstone and I swear this truck still looks cheap to me. I bought a ram 1500 and there’s no comparison on the quality of how it’s built. Toyota Toyota are cheap. Show me the seat. Complete waste of money. That should be $60K. $85K??? Go get a Raptor!
Great don’t buy it do yourself a favor and get a 5.7 L V-8 Tundra instead
These tundras are having a ton of problems. Blowing engines and quality control issues. People need to do their homework before buying one.
