Thank you, Miriam and Vivian! I loved hearing Miriam describe her transformation from JW to the woman she is now. So inspiring!
I spent some very formative years as a witness and that experience has impacted every aspect of my life. Even though I left the religion 40 years ago I can still relate to everyone's story. Thanks again for sharing so honestly. I'm planning to check out your blog!

@@miriamdelaneyheard2234, thank you, I did not know that. I'll definitely be doing research into that; something that the Governing Body discourages, research into their own religion that is. Wishing you continued success & happiness in your life's pursuit.

Miriam I am only 20 minutes into listening to your story and I realized I know you. I remember you and your husband and your daughter. Your daughter was just a baby when I was there. One of the few kids there. I left the witnesses 6 years ago. I was in the Roanoke Congregation for about a year. I married John Boozer. I hated living in such a rural area so I didnt stay long. Please contact me I would love to catch up with you.

Anywhere else independent thinking is a skill set. Wow so profound. This is coming from a male you are spot on with that organization. I’m so glad you found your way out of it. You found your freedom and your independence and your individuality not to mention your calling that would’ve never happened inside that organization

You lose a lot but you gain so much more when you receive the gift of grace eternal life through Jesus Christ. It always saddens me when people leave that false religious organization and their testimony is about themselves in the organization and not about their salvation through Jesus Christ our Savior.
    Matthew 19:29 👑

This is the definition of throwing out the baby with the bath water! There are good and bad people everywhere you go. You can't go around blaming a group of people based on 1 or 2 people or 1 or 2 experiences. Truth is you wanted an out and you found an excuse to get out. Now you have to deal with the results.
