#YADAM is a trilingual, Paris-based, queer artist who was born in Venezuela, raised in the U.S. and then immigrated to France at age 18. He had a musical upbringing - he learned the violin as a child - but it was only when he arrived in Paris five years ago that music really took hold. Witnessing friends’ reactions to him singing, he was inspired to go further, which led him to the small screen as a runner up on “Nouvelle Star” (or French Idol), the French TV talent show.
YADAM channeled all his time and efforts into balancing a full-time job, making the album across Europe in between touring. Along the way he was fortunate to work with some incredible collaborators including GRAMMY award winning Samuel Dixon (Adele, Sia, Christina Aguilera) and Rafa Sardina (Alejandro Sanz, Luis Miguel, Calle 13, Lady Gaga), among others.
The title of YADAM’s debut album ‘Belamor’, due out in late Spring of 2023, is a combination of French and Spanish words meaning ‘Beautiful Love’. While love is a recurring theme throughout the album, what makes it so beautiful is the unique journey YADAM took to get here and the music he made along the way.
From coming of age far away from home, to finding love and losing it again and again, YADAM’s story is one of overcoming obstacles and finding hope in the face of adversity. It’s a story we can all relate to and aspire to at the same time.

#YADAM es un artista queer trilingüe, con sede en París. Creció entre Estados Unidos y Venezuela y emigró a Francia a los 18 años. Su experiencia estando solo en Francia extrañando a su familia en Venezuela forjaron el camino de sus canciones a través de letras vulnerables y vocales emotivos. Tuvo una educación musical, aprendió a tocar el violín cuando era niño, pero fue solo cuando llegó a París hace cinco años que la música realmente se afianzó. Al presenciar las reacciones de sus amigos cuando cantaba, se inspiró para ir más allá, lo que lo llevó a la pantalla chica como finalista en "Nouvelle Star" (o el Idol Francés), el programa de talento de la televisión francesa.
YADAM canalizó todo su tiempo y esfuerzos para equilibrar un trabajo de tiempo completo, haciendo el álbum por distintas partes de Europa y entre fechas de gira. En el camino, tuvo la suerte de trabajar con algunos colaboradores increíbles, incluido el ganador del premio GRAMMY Samuel Dixon (Adele, Sia, Christina Aguilera) y Rafa Sardina (Alejandro Sanz, Luis Miguel, Calle 13, Lady Gaga), entre otros.
El título del álbum debut de YADAM, 'Belamor', que saldrá en el 2023, es una combinación de palabras en francés y español que significan 'Bello Amor'. Si bien el amor es un tema recurrente a lo largo del álbum, lo que lo hace tan hermoso es el viaje único que hizo YADAM para llegar aquí y la música que hizo en el camino.
Desde llegar a la mayoría de edad lejos de casa hasta encontrar el amor y perderlo una y otra vez, la historia de YADAM es la de superar obstáculos y encontrar esperanza frente a la adversidad. Es una historia con la que todos podemos relacionarnos y aspirar al mismo tiempo.
