It should be pointed out, that when he refers to "high heeled" shoes, he's not just talking about the ones women wear, with really high heels.
He's talking about any shoe that elevates the heel ...which means almost all modern shoes.

Always interesting as usual, as anything from Professor Lieberamn. But if you've read his books and watched his many UA-cam videos (around 40 of them, or more), you'll immediately see that Professor Lieberman is sticking to reciting his views about running style, heel striking, overstride, barefoot running, the calamity of modern shoes with stiff cushioned heels, etc. that he has exposed so many times.
But here he is talking to Vivobarefoot, makers of minimalist shoes, the very shoes he quickly mentions as "the shoes I like". A preference also already repeated in many videos where he touches on the matter of running shoes. In some videos he even goes as far as showing us (very briefly) the Vivobarefoot shoe he is wearing.
So here I naively expected that the present video was going to be the best occasion for him to give us his thorough analysis of how this famous shoe is made, discussing every technical layer and shape, and why it is a good solution for avoiding all the problems of ordinary heel-cushioned running shoes. But no, Professor Lieberman does not even show the Vivo shoes he is now wearing and refuses to go into any specific discussion of its merits, and with perhaps mentioning some of its drawbacks (if any). Naturally, he does not want to be perceived as promoting or advertising the Vivo brand, and so he leaves us on our hunger for a solid scientific presentation of all the technical aspects of the Vivobarefoot shoe. And I think it is a sheer loss for us, as he is the top expert to discuss the qualities of this Vivobarefoot shoe.
