Singleplayer exploration & survival sounds neat in this style! But please be careful when considering multiplayer, as others mentioned it has a lot of financial potential but might also cut corners game-design wise
So, games about fighitng off zombies are not necessarily mycup of tea (i'm more of a sims/rollercoaster tycoon guy) but I have to comment that this game got my interest on visual style alone... It looks so good! So pretty! Visually interesting, the right abmoutn of daunting but originally stylized... Love to see it!!!

This trailer made me realize I want a chicken farming sim with group survival mechanics, not the other way around. I was immediately more interested in the chickens. I can imagine playing this game thinking the zombies are just a nuisance as I gather resources to upgrade my chicken coop and recruit survivors to try my egg-based recipes, help grow the farm, and most importantly take care of the zombies so that I can be a chicken farmer in peace. I want a survivalist chicken farming sim with guns where the player has to defend their flock from predators, criminals, invaders, rival farmers, and zombie hordes. I've played chicken farming sims. They would have been more fun with more chicken interactions and with more ways to protect the chickens in an open world full of chickens and people and enemies and resources to create a chicken paradise out of a chicken hell. My favorite part of zombie sims like _State of Decay_ was building a little farm base. More satisfying and fun than going out among the zombies. I'd like a game more about staying at base with the cuddly chickens than venturing out into dangerous zombie infested areas. It would be more realistic, too. Real zombie survival is mostly about building a home base behind the fences and growing food and resources so that you don't have to risk your life by venturing out into danger. But the games are always nonstop action and danger. I'd rather hang out at base with chickens and a garden and a girlfriend, making supplies and friends. How about a game where you mostly ignore the zombies? Trade information on the radio, farm, make supplies, and venture out to the weekly market to meet people and barter supplies. _State of Decay_ meets _Stardew Valley!_
Build 42 is looking promising.

My best wishes i hope it suceeds. Consider adding workshop support.
I hope this doesn't become abandoned like other ambitious indie game. Aside from project zomboid and a few less game, there arent any good indie zombie games that turn out finished
zomboid is far from finished. there’s not even npcs
its not abandoned ,thats what my comment was saying. Its actively worked on @@treevnor
Because zombies don’t seem to be that popular to the average consumer for some reason
@@flyinglobster9552because there’s not many games that can pull the concept off while remaining engaging and novel.
Looks great. Wish everything was alittle slower paced though
Agreed. Looks like it plays like an arcade shooter.
with that horde speed, melee weapon is pretty much useless
Yeah arcade shooter or balloon tower defense….. and no reload just brain dead hold mouse button.
I bet it is sped up for dramatic effect
play P: Zomboid, thats the game youre looking for.
I know the main goal of the game is to hunker down in the school, but I'd love an optional mode that allows us to hunker down anywhere. Either way, this is looking really good and it'll definitely be a Day 1 purchase for me.
Be wary, the demo fucks with your PC settings without permission.
Can you elaborate?
quality gore, a colossal amount of zombies and lots of madness... that's what I'm talking about.
Sick af. This gets me more hyped than most current triple A releases
this could have been a great postal remake
Singleplayer exploration & survival sounds neat in this style! But please be careful when considering multiplayer, as others mentioned it has a lot of financial potential but might also cut corners game-design wise
A huge amount of zombies and still smooth is amazing!
Looks great! Hope the sneaking around and crafty parts are as good as the action. Either way, hope to check it out, maybe with my buds!
This looks amazing, but i got really sad seeing single-player only. Let us survive together.
Damn the Knox infection looks scary in this update
Looks really sweet! Not sure though if this is a brash PZ-clone or a cool and viable alternative =D either way, it's wishlisted!
Probably not PZ clone (for now) judging by from gameplay is more tend action and less simulation, a WWZ alike
Doesnt look like a clone but definitively looks like it is inspired by it
i mean its an isometric zombie game and theres only really one other of those@@julius00
Haven't seen a horde this huge in a isometric game before >.>
Looks good :)
project zomboid dork
Blud has never been to Louisville in Project Zomboid 💀
@@Something_Disgusting Yes, that's the joke, blud.
This looks great. I see tons of opportunity for Dynamic gameplay which is my favorite.
Holy guys this looks pretty nice. Pls keep working on it
the intense zoom on the chicken feeding xD
OOof just about destroyed my headphones. You really need an music composer. I volunteer as a tribute.
I don’t get it, it seems like in every clip we see of the zombies, the players are a couple of seconds away from being overrun, it doesn’t look fun at all just frustrating…
Interesting, on the wishlist! Will have to wait for more, but looks fun for coop if that gets added later!
I love having intern Jiang-Hao from Baoshan Limited watching me play while he install several bitcoin miners into my pc!
Baoshan Steel-Limited mining my PC for fifteen cents as I watch the twenty seven gigs install
looking forward to play it!
Making a campfire in heavy rain like at 1:45 is the most apocalypse alpha move to flex on other survivors :p
is it a Project zombiod or just a tower defence?
td ...zomboid is something else..
Yeah honestly looks cool. But mechanics are kind of a let down. But zomboid will always hold its place on the mantle.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing!
Better than zomboid if you actually want NPCs, FUN and No PAINFUL MICROMANAGING MECHANICS that pad down the gameplay so much.
@@HookahOtakuHow much you get paid for this comment?
I'll buy just for the chicken feeding scene with the dramatic music going on
estoy ansioso de que salga
"This is how you died"
Aight boys get ready to binge watch all of our favourite youtubers loose their minds over this game
I hope this game would have mod support, this looks promising and wouldn't mind giving it a try when it releases.
Bro there's something about these overwhelmingly colossal hordes that give me an uncanny feel. Like they *actually* feel terrifying to imagine...
The gunplay & crowd control remind me of Dead Nation , played on PS3 a decade ago.
that game was the shit
@@hyghtec5149 yeah , wish they would make sequel or something .
Nice! It reminds me of an old game I played as a kid named Flesh Feast. Wishlisted.
looks like project zomboid on steroids
Does anyone have any idea what the big banner and posters say at 1:05?
maybe its ai generated text
Looks like the world of the game has its own language
Arcade-y Project Zomboid? I’m all for it! Looks really fun, though I dunno if the multiplayer is there or not, but it’s a must-have for this game. Steam Workshop is a must too.
BTW, devs should add a link to their game on Steam in the video’s description.
Just to clarify you would like to a brain dead hold mouse button shooter where you run circles and shoot zombies by the horde with no reloads? Why not just place SAS? Last stand aftermath?
@@narth9414Thats what they said isnt it? I don’t see the problem with their opinion.
@@kp2ng 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The art style is really good, unlike some other zombie survivors I know, that are stuck in 2012 it should've been released. Hope it has proper controller support.
Thought that was Project Zomboid
Me too
Como a alguien que le gusta los juegos de zombies, sin duda este juego se ve bastante interesante.
In Brazil we love games and films in the zombie genre, in addition to being one of the biggest buyers of games in the industry, if you could make the subtitles available in Brazilian Portuguese, even if made by AI, it would be an honor and a big thank you.
I hope it has survival mechanics and is not just a shooter, it looks very interesting tho
Just play project zomboid then haha
pretty sure he means like hunger and thirst bars not moodles or that super in depth shit, which is admittedly really cool in my eyes, it's why i play scum too
@@elliottprehn6342 Fair enough lol
it literally showed off planting crops and feeding chickens
@@deamooz9810 didn't notice that
What is up with leaves growing on the wooden posts after installing them?
Bros... This feels like SAS Zombie Assault 5... So beautiful...
I WAS ONE OF THE 19K VIEWERS, PLEASE REMEMBER MEEE !
Hopefully encourages PZ devs to develop their game quicker
They're making a new game?
Meant Update their game quicker since its still not completed, next update is near and its optimization and crafting update iirc@@moshymosh
@@moshymosh no the one that's been in early access for 12 years
You know, I honestly just thought they took the money and ran.
lazy bums thats all.
there has never been a game that has done hordes like this properly
I already know people are going to compare this game to Project Zomboid, but I feel like this game will be special in some way.
Looks like a project zomboid knock off😂
I miss highschool of the dead, it's such an amazing concept in the zombie anime.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS!! I've read the discussions on steam about this game. this game has malware and you can't uninstall it.
Report this channel and the game on steam
Then you havent looked enough, people were unsure if it was a malware/bitcoin miner. It was proven that the game configures ur windows perfomance settings (Which is sus yes) But they enable a rendering setting which uses ur GPU
Oh shit PZ players will have a new game to complain about for not having has much content as their 10+ years old game!
Someone's salty that PZ is about to lose players
@@AlexTechie eh no I don't even play the game. There's a reason why I wrote "Oh shit PZ players will have a new game to complain about" 🤣🤦
Please next time read what the person wrote before replying to the person....
Finally! The game i have dreamed of!! YESHH!! For real thou, The Last Stand:aftermath came out i thought its an open worldish, but its not, quite dissapointing, thanks for making this game!
Damn. Build 42 looks so damn good.
Seems like a more serious and fully fleshed out version of Death Road to Canada (which is a great game)
Sad how long it took to see a comment referencing DRtC.
this actually looks very cool to me i remember xbox 360 had slot of cool indies with a similar concept but this looks really different i can’t wait to see the full game 😁
