You could fashion a kind of mass perferator using a section of the perler board some equal length needles and either a drill/superglue or a lighter/hot glue. Once you have a significant amount of perferators all you'd need to do is cut out the part with needles and fix it to a makeshift handle
Thank you for saying why you use tape, I'm super new, like haven't made one since I was a kid, just got my kit and trying it out with friends in a couple days. I was wondering why you didn't just use the board the entire video and it was like you heard me. 🩷
Seems way easier than I thought it would be lol, thank you for this tutorial
Omg!!! This is such a good idea for larger perlers!!!
This was the best video on the tape method!! Thank you so much!
I might use this once I find my tape
what if you made a board of evenly spaced needles that can holepunch the entire piece to reduce blowout chances?
@@hairyballbastic8943 there’s some ppl making 3D printed tools for this now :)
excellent ty for saving my boards

does the masking tape have to be thick?
I like the hole poking part 😅
I wish I had the patience for it tbh but I just iron low and slow for the first side and usually that minimizes blowouts
Sicko!
I do as well 😅😂
I’ve got so much respect for y’all who pioneer and make large scale projects in the festival and PLUR community 🫶🏼
Do i iron the back or the front?
@@Autistickid800 I iron both
@@MoodKandi okay thx
can you do the tape method with mini perler beads?
thats what i do! the process is the exact same. if you're worried abt it start with thinning width tape but i use my 2" tape for both types of beads
That flip made me NERVOUS
What if your beads reach the edge of your pegboard?
extend the tape onto your table
Vicky muffin!?
YESSS
Yeee
you didnt poke holes in the tape
@@danielsmusic23 yep, I don’t poke holes in the tape. If you do flat melts that’s a dealbreaker but I leave mine textured and it’s rarely an issue :)
