Yooo they just changed the Audio on Spotify it’s not even CJ no more on the track, that song really doesn’t do it for me no more. It’s kinda fuck because I loved his raspy Voice
I was super excited for the new album, and then i heard the news about CJ and i listened to the album in full and while the different vocalist did well, it just felt like its missing CJ's impact overall. I stand with CJ, he shouldve been at least allowed to keep his contributions to Godlike and then move in a different direction if there's another new album in the future
Yeah I only listened to the Tyler version once or twice but have been smashing the CJ one daily. I don't think Tyler did badly in any way.. CJ is just another beast entirely. Where I think we'll really notice the difference is when they perform live. CJ's stage presence and banter really elevated their performance imo. The only silver lining is that he hasn't actually left the scene (like for example Adrian did when he left Northlane) so there's a high chance we'll see him front another band at some point.

Going by the talk on reddit the digital/streaming version are being swapped out or have already been swapped. The physical releases seem to have come out with CJ’s vocals, presumably because they were finalised and sent prior to him getting the boot.

Thy Slip is Artknot. Also, altho I love CJ, I like how the vocals aren't as dominant as on previous TAIM albums. Overall, great song. Nothing too special, but it has a certain drive to it that still makes it stand out,.
