Been saying the same exact thing! These mudaphukas must have forgot! So TF what he didn’t mesh with Payton, it’s not like he just all of sudden stopped being a future HOF QB. These dudes are tripping.
😂Nah do his last 2 seasons in Seattle and first season in Denver too…yall love to just highlight the good. With all those stats he still leads the league in sacks and turnovers. Go Hawks 😩✊
@@lees5953 2021- 25 tds 6 ints with an injured finger in only 13 games. 2022 he had Hackett coaching and a torn lat 😭 I’ve never seen a player be great for 12 out of 13 years and still get questioned like Russ do
I’ll say it: Biggest difference between JF and RW is RW has a higher football IQ. JF is a superior athlete, but only ran the play as the play is called. RW looking at the defense and processing the play called compared to the defense then making adjustments. Then after snap, still processing the play and making better decisions. He is also recognizing the one on one coverage and trusting his receivers to fight for and make the catch.
It's because even though the Steelers beat the Ravens, they're hardly ever a true contender. They haven't won a playoff game since 2017, and usually, by the time they meet the Ravens for the second time of the season, the Ravens are already in the playoffs and are resting starters.🤷🏽♂️
Tomlin HOF coach no doubt Steelers are a legit threat!…Russ as the master and Justin as the grasshopper is gonna be awesomeness!…Justin is the future but he’s 3 years behind the cue ball because of Chicago!
Russ has played really good for years. Being surprised that he can run an offense really well and make impactful and winning throws is amazing. He gets trashed by media because his cool factor is low and he had a tough run in Denver. On this team he is going to be good. Get ready!
Russ had a great game but we have also learned the Jets are not a good football team. I want to see the Steelers up against some better teams and see what they look like
Great job explaining the two Stiller QBs passing differences. I don't think you guys have looked at history with the Stillers and Crows when deciding AFC north champions. The Crows will be one dimensional with the number one rush defense against them. Lastly Tomlin owns Harbaugh the last 10 games, I believe it's 9-1 without looking it up..
I love the national media- "the whole world told him he was crazy". No they didn't - the Steeler fan base (which I am part of) had some division but there were plenty of people (including me) who from day 1 wanted to see what Russell can do. I live in Chicago, I have seen plenty of JF. He did his job but you have to decide if we want to see a downfield threat or more of a high end game manager. Both QBs will frustrate at times but if we can establish GP and a downfield threat, it will open up running lanes and give us balance. You can go back to last year or two of Ben, two of Kenny and the start of this year, zero downhill threat. These guys in the media are deflecting because they have been over the top on being anti RW I am not thinking RW is going to go crazy but you can make an argument that he will be incrementally better every week. The OL cannot be in flux much more than week 7- backup center, RG and RT- that will stabilize. At some point we at least add Roman Wilson and I like the 4 catches from Darnell Washington. I don't think DW will be a big pass catcher, but I like what we saw against the jets. Also, the deep passes against the Jets were not Russ's best. If he catches GP in stride on the 40 yarder, it is an easy 75 yarder. He will make more of those that he misses. As for the Ravens, they did look great against Tampa, but everyone knows we always play them tough.
I don't believe this unless I see this same analysis across the entire league - hundreds of passes. It gives the elite defenders who do turn their heads and locate the ball more time to react too. The linebackers in coverage with their backs to the QB I buy into this analysis
@@xtmac13x I was not really commenting on Russ, just the idea more air time is always better, when receiver is sitting in soft spot of zone coverage you want velo, or when safety is coming over to help, the ball hanging in air gives safety more time to get to the ball, 1 on 1 with defender’s back to QB I agree more air time is good
Russ haven’t proved anything yet, they faced a sorry ass Jets team led by a weak leader Aaron Rogers and defeated them. Wait until they face a good team.
@@JoseGallego-j6x yet you were saying Russ would get sacked 10 times and lose by 10 before the game, Steelers were also underdogs to win the game so you should’ve put money and won since the jets are so awul
Russ proved all you clowns wrong lol he has 31 tds and 9 ints in his last 17 games with a 100 passer rating, stop disrespecting him he NEVER fell pff

Guess they don’t pay attention that Lamar is 2-8 against the Steelers and got swept last year, the boot licking of the ravens is crazy
I just noticed that how many times the Steelers beat the ravens

Won't loose to them this year.
I'll come back in a few weeks.
@chuckyblack3578 yeah you do that until then ain't trying hear nothing
Umm none of those teams have a defense that the Steelers have. Plus what is the Steelers record against Lamar Jackson again?
8-2 lol they seem to forget that, and got swept last year with no ones as QBs
Justin can still be the future. He just needs to keep learning rom russ and work on his touch of his throws
I don't care how long ball in air just catch it
He was just pointing out for the receivers it's easier to catch a ball with Russ vs Justin and it's true
Tomlin HOF coach no doubt Steelers are a legit threat!…Russ as the master and Justin as the grasshopper is gonna be awesomeness!…Justin is the future but he’s 3 years behind the cue ball because of Chicago!
Dan sounds stupid...just admit he was wrong.. He said Russ would be a complete bust.

Russ played against good teams last season. He’s not a rookie lol. In fact he’s played 13 seasons. A lot of footage out there

it's coming after this bye week they got coming up.
Let's go 💪 Russell wilson 💪 go steelers and go Russell wilson
Its so funny that these guys are on national television and none of them have a clue what they're talking about lmao straight haters
That moon ball is a dream ball to all WRs and tightends.
1 damn game
Against the Jets
This is why we were saying Dan you don't know what you're talking about to keep playing JF
Dan why you didn't do that when you played.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dan deserve to be in Lions hall of fame😂
