Good stuff again! I like sharing these kind of videos from you and other creators to try and help grow the community. I appreciate that you make good content!
Very informative! Glad I found your channel. I am a Bravos player and have been playing Kojo. I prefer Basira's lore more though. Do you have any competitive Basira decks? I really wish to play her but always stuck.
This one did really well at a 500 player event recently! It got top 16. cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1126527674182008913/1305674061115818034/Top8_Pierrot_du-Saillant_Pandanaconda.jpg.png?ex=673d1dba&is=673bcc3a&hm=a0c95f40a087f3cceddda2b3ba6cd5d2a703ee2590dc64ab3163cea7d43b1c37&
I have yet to try the Arena on BGA and when I get paired with a player with ELO more than 200 or so, I choose my Kojo Foundry deck in hopes of being competitive. Otherwise I try a variety of decks and heroes which keeps me in the ELO=100 basement. This video is an excellent example of a skilled player using finesse to beat a deck that relies on brute strength. It really shows the special virtues of Altered TCG
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! There are so many heroes to try and I'm glad to hear you are experimenting with them. I like to try different ones too and some definitely help or hurt my ratings more than others haha
Have you tested with Ordis Carrier yet? Ive been really liking it to help smooth out all-spell hands and challenge both expeditions. It also goves an extra buff to 2 of my better Uniques, but if i ever find Harvesters instead, I'd probably make the swap 😅
@@zigeif777 I can see making the switch if you get a benefit from your uniques! In the past when I played carrier early it was really hard to win a side that day and if I play it later when I have an anchored character out to cover me I miss the opportunity to 2-0 or set up something bigger. How do you normally fit it into your curve?
@TricksterCG I'm still in the minor leagues but I've found people don't respect the Carrier enough to hit it with removal, so the constant pressure throughout the game makes up for the round 1 tempo loss. To be fair, I have rarely been hit with a double progression on T1, so if that picks up it would be hard to come back from regularly. If I don't see it either T1 or T2 after a Sneezer Shroom, it's usually mana fodder
been looking for cards that do what those spindles do, no luck yet. I do have a lady of the lake that will return any card when she leaves the expedition zone though
hi, i also play afanas and came here to learn (through entertainment:). im wondering why you didn't play magical training for 1 last mana to have one more card and boost the anchored shroom (14:48, ua-cam.com/video/be7ir8Ln_-E/v-deo.html). curious about the pros and cons of this choice:)
That is a good option! The reason I kept it is I actually feel like the card is really strong and maybe even better than what I will draw. On the next day I can play mage dancer from reserve and then get 2 boosts out of playing the 1 cost training. It will also slow down my turn to let me be more reactive with off you go or avoid removal by the time I play meditation the next day.
@@TricksterCG Thank you for the reply! That's an interesting approach. I didn't think about that before. Surely in this situation it was a good play. I will see if I can apply this in similar situations myself:)
@@Jeckman814 that's fair. I can see people getting tired of someone else's playlist quickly in a longer gameplay video. Do you think it has a place in shorter videos to add energy and set the tone or is it still distracting there?
@@TricksterCG I'm sure elevator music on low behind a deck review or casual video would be fine. Music during gameplay could work if you are going for more of a story teller vibe and want the music to add dramatica to it as well.

@zigeif777 that makes sense. If your opponent spends all their mana on one side I can see the setup turn being very worth it! What rare would you cut?
@TricksterCG I'm currently on common Baba Yagas but I do miss the spare stats sometimes!
I would love to see you cook an Auraq deck.

No music, it is distracting and can be awkward since everyone's taste of music is different.

Please no music. I use hearing aids and music would make hearing your excellent commentary much more difficult for me.
Oh , I just win against you with my fen :)
@@williamlefebvre218 you could try! Would you say that Fen into Afanas is a pretty favorable matchup?
@TricksterCG No, no, the match up is better for Afanas. I was saying that we played together earlier on bga, and I recognise your uniqueness
@@TricksterCG i find it pretty even. maybe 60-40 fen at best.
