I build custom furniture for highly satisfied customers...And you make me want to throw all my woodworking tools away, lol. Attention to detail and precision is insane!
True artists talk of they’re inspiration and the reasoning behind they’re decisions, your work is created in wood conceived by a true artists vision.
I can't believe you don't have more exposure than you do. I watch a lot of wood working channels and your videos are just as high quality if not significantly better than some of these bigger channels
I really appreciate you saying that! Hopefully someday one of these takes off 🤞
100% Nick is crazy talented. If I can make something even 1/4 as beautiful then I think I'll be satisfied for life.
Word🤙🏼
💯Agree. Hands down the highest quality woodworking channel atm.
Definitely one of the top, if not the top woodworker on UA-cam!
“Pull out. Shave. Put it back in.” Needs to be your next shirt :)
Awesome work as always man. You and Pedulla Studio are the top two woodworkers on UA-cam in my opinion
Thanks so much! Licensing that shirt to manscaped lol
Nick does some amazing work as well! I drool over his shop space
I've gotta stop watching these videos or I will FOREVER be unsatisfied with everything I produce.... UNBELIEVABLE work man. absolutely stunning
I'm trying to figure out what's more nuts: the build itself or the video and everything that went into it. Well done, man.
Haha definitely crazy all around. Thanks man!
I have read many of the comments posted below and they all follow a theme; that you are a master at your craft and are truly inspiring. I am a lifelong "basement" woodworker and I follow all of the major woodworkers on the platform and you are surely under-rated. Btw, you also have a nice sense of humor. Many You-Tubers try too hard to be funny but you add a small bit of humor that doesn't distract from your professionalism. P.S. I want to see your wife. Not in a perverted sort of way but after the loss of your son and the way you talk about her, she must be a sweet woman!
Day-am Son, you did a thing here!
Awesome!!!!!
Worth every day of those 6 months.
Great work. 90% of the woodworkers on UA-cam are hacks who build epoxy table tops. Little to no actual wood working ability. Such a pleasure to watch your channel and Pedulla Studio.
Brilliant & Beautiful. Seemingly endless talent. Sick to death of watching craftsmen run their CNCs. Thank you for your efforts in creating this piece with your HANDS. Awesome! You sir are 1 in a million.
Haha if I had room for a CNC (and the money) I’d own one. That said, thank you! I really appreciate your appreciation of the craft.
You know Nick, we look back at the magnificent rooms in centuries old spectacular homes, castles and mansions. Hand carved mantels with carvings of lions, cherubs, etc. Intricate doors of immense size and detail, acres of raised panels with hand carved dental work and coffered ceilings. I (we) wonder how did they do that with the simple tools of their time to such exacting precision which have lasted for centuries? They'll be wondering the same about your artistry many years from now. :)
This is incredibly kind! It’s fun to think the love and labor will be appreciated by others for years to come. Thank you so much!
Ammmazing you have an eye for design when I start watching I stay till the end. I’m a 51 yr old newbee people like you inspire me to go for it. I’ll never have your perfection but if I can stretch my imagination and watch more films like Nemo maybe I
Can take a little pride in satisfaction
As an avid consumer of youtube woodworking videos I will say that this is the most complex and beautiful piece of furniture I've seen so far. I wish i could click the like button more than once. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much, Marek!
Possibly the nicest thing I’ve ever seen built on UA-cam. Spectacular
I have missed your videos. Glad to see this project coming together. Your work and videos are therapeutic.
That’s awesome! Thanks James! Good to be missed and better to be back
Once again you prove that you are the master of design & execution!! 😮
Thanks Thomas! Not sure if I’m a master yet, but 1% closer every day.
You are really one the most underrated Carftsmen on UA-cam. Exceptional Job really.
This is incredible, if you don’t blow up in subs idk what’s is wrong with people. The slides reference to Walmart had me rolling
Nick, there is only one word to explain the dedication and delivery of this talent you have ... beautiful.
Bravo from a man who is a "wanna be", your talent is awesome.
Come for the precision woodworking... Stay for the masterful commentary. X^ )
gotta be honest, woodworking will never stop seeming silly to me, but this here is more art than trade, and I can really respect it. the paraffin on the drawers was actually just completely genius too. and the editing is by far the best I've ever seen on any woodworking content - seems like you're a true artist. good shid man.
Wow! Nick. Knocked another one out of the park. I'll have to admit I wasn't seeing it until it all came together in the end and it is awesome. Just goes to show the depth of your vision to see this result in your mind and to step your way through to get there. Bravo!
Thanks so much! Definitely hard to explain where I’m going until I get there. Appreciate you sticking it out with me!
Nick, as a new PDX Webfoot subscriber, I enjoy your excellent lighting, audio and superb editing skills not to
mention woodworking design skills that I am learning a lot from, to improve my woodworking experience. Thank you!
Your pieces are simply jaw dropping! I watched about 4 hours of your videos yesterday and completely agree with the Gremlin - the videos are put together as well as the pieces, and that's saying a LOT. Looking forward to whatever you produce next.. doesn't matter.. could be a spoon.
Seriously dude, the level of content and the quality of work your produce you deserve way more than 65k subs. Great work!
Ahhh dude! Thanks so much. Really appreciate it.
It's amazing the people that UA-cam promotes. There's a guy's out there with five times more exposure that can't even do a simple Mill down and glue up.
Happy to see you back on my UA-cam feed!
This level of craftsmanship being self taught is insane. Keep grinding, you're channel is going to blow up.
Thanks Justin!
Thats not a dresser thats an expensive art that a lot of people won't mind paying, Great work!
What an incredible piece of art. Congratulations to your wife for completing her residency. Congratulations to you for the enjoyable video and amazing build.
You must have 100 hours alone in the edit of this. Outstanding. I can only echo what others have said.. you deserve much more recognition hence my comment. Algorithm n all
I appreciate you! Pretty damn close to that in this edit. 3TB of footage w/ the base.
6 months edited down to 34mins. That alone is amazing. Great work as always buddy
Nick, this is amazing. This is Yoda-level craftsmanship, and 900 years he had to master his craft. I had zero desire to work with veneer before watching some of your videos and now I am sold as the end result is next level.
Thank you!
Hey really appreciate that! I never wanted to work w veneer either, but it opens up such a cool world of possibility
absolutely nuts man....what a fantastic original piece.
I have said it many times before (never on UA-cam) Nick, but you are an absolute artist and master craftsman. Beautiful piece. Keep smoking it bro!! W
Always loving your work and what you create in your shop!
Thanks so much man. Appreciate the love as always
Wow! I wasn’t sure about whether I liked it or not for a bit but,
it turned out wow! That thing is just… WOW!!
Hey thanks so much Shaun!
Amazing woodworking, always fun to watch your work and unwind a crappy work week. I wish you posted a video every Friday, now I am being selfish. May you be blessed always 🙏
I love that he's got cal scrubby playing at the end of the video!!!!!!!
You're awesome!!!
I'd subscribe twice if I would.
Hands down you are up their with the best and certainly when it comes to design and innovation you are atop the Christmas tree.
I spent my life as a cabinet maker, mainly stealing ideas from other peoples work. I'd fight shy of trying to copy this piece.
Bravo and keep up the stunning work. I'm sure the channel will grow in time and I'm pretty sure you will never sell out and give us the "Ultimate Thingyiest Sled Ever" video.
This is not my style of furniture, but I admire your craftsmanship and creativity. Very nice job sir
I don't know which is more inspiring, your woodworking or your videos. Great job brother!
Brother that six month build time paid off 100 fold. Wow! This piece is truly magnificent. And. All this brilliance without formal training. You are becoming a wise ol' master craftsman. Really. Awesome!
one of the most stunning woodworking pieces I've ever seen. Especially on UA-cam. Pair that with a beautiful video edit *chef's kiss*
A mind blowing piece of a) design work & b) construction skills & techniques. Your conceptual work & construction skills put way up at the top of the elite level of woodworkers. Given that you are a self taught woodworker makes it all the more amazing. I sort of feel lost for words to describe the beauty, skill & sheer artistry of your work my friend. Keep up your fantastic work & videos. Stay safe & well, Don from South Aust.
Your furniture style you build in is not my favorite style, however your furniture builds are my favorite. You do such an amazing job. I had no idea wood could be so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Just damn fine craftsmanship! Such thoughtful design! Art and functionality coming together has never looked so beautiful unlike this piece.
No need for a long drawn out statement. Beautiful just simply beautiful.
Thanks you!
You are insane doood! That piece is mind blowing. You are extremely talented and a pleasure to watch. Nick, thank you for sharing this.
Hey thanks for taking the time to watch!
Dude!!! Dude!!! This is spectacular !!!
And the edit!!!!!!! Wowza
Fantastic build. I loved the new video style compared to some of the older videos you've put out. Make more like this, and I'll watch every one of them.
Thanks Aaron! Slowly figuring out how to do this video stuff. Appreciate you sticking out the stinkers with me lol definitely will keep moving toward big quality designs over quantity of shit.
Had to pause half way through to get Tylenol ….. wrapping my head around this build was crazy…. Killed it like always!
Hahaha man I’ve been on the IV drip trying to get this to the finish line
Absolutely beautiful and unique piece. As you were talking about the blue shark color contrast in my head for a split second I was like oh dear god please tel me he’s not painting walnut blue! Hahaha idk why my brain thought that but the end result you truly nailed what you described throughout the video👍
"Red head of a project..."
And like a red head, it turned out cute. :D
Just like my red headed wife 😂
LMAO! "This isn't a kitchen, and I don't build for Walmart. We're gonna piston fit this shit!" That's awesome dude! Impeccable as always.
love the "in the weeds" vibe of this video. I feel like other builders make vids showcasing errors in projects, but this one is unique in the way that it puts you in that moment to moment decision (and indecision!) making that always goes on in a complicated creative project. ton of raw skill on display here dude, serious props 🤌
Thanks Jake! Glad you liked it! Wish I could breeze through these builds with a “here’s how it’s done” but man, indecision is right.
Nick! Your videos keep getting better and better! Love the design. I’ve always struggled with the right handle. You hit it dead on brother! More content please. Can’t seem to get enough of your work!
Thanks so much Mark! Super proud of how this video/build came together and pleased to read that you’re enjoying it! Really appreciate it
I do hope your wife loved it as much as I do. Truly elegant.
Simply outstanding. My favorite channel. You encourage this old man to keep striving for better
Love to read that. Thanks a ton Jim!
I have to say I have been in awe of your skill. A couple of your peices I was like wtf but this one is mind blowing the final peice is so beautiful. Congrats just wow
Thanks so much!
You truly are a wizard with wood. Congrats on finishing that piece.
That is one of the most impressive things I'm ever seen. You should have way more exposure.
Thanks so much for saying that! Hopefully one day 🤞
A suggestion for a video. Besides the eye-opening, jaw dropping designs and builds, I am simply amazed at the ribbons you are able to create planing, regardless of which plane or spokeshave you use. I saw a brief glimpse of your sharpening station in this video, but I think it would be very beneficial to many of your viewers if you could make a video on your sharpening process, with anecdotal information on plane setup and use. Many thanks!
Beautiful piece! I struggle with design and implementation but that 1% better every day really got my attention and I like that mode of thinking. Thanks for that little gem.
Wow.... I'm speechless. That's freaking awesome! You are on another level, God bless you.
This makes me want to burn my wood shop down lol. You are on a different planet at woodworking
Wow your designs and talent are just stunning love watching your video please don’t stop!!!
A true artist 🎨 👏. You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for the great lessons in woodworking.
Thanks for taking the time Ben!
This is some pretty impressive craftsmanship, self taught or not this is awesome work! As for the OCD factor, I have to admit to more than a few anxiety inducing moments. This has been the case throughout my 40 plus years in the building trades, if I'm having a rough time making something come together it manifests in dreams of not being able to get something right after countless attempts. You seem to thrive at this and that my friend is no small feat! Great job, as always!
Thanks so much Brian!
I asked you once why you thought the furniture you made was worth 30k but after continuing to watch you videos and understanding the process how much passion and effort you put into these I have started the slow down and quit rushing my process I see how much effort you put and time and I appreciate your woodwork I have much to learn !! So to give you a Guage as to how far along I am into woodworking thecutting board I made for my wife I think is worth at least 1k... lol keep up the good work man love your videos
Wow man, Very very impressive work. I did a curved media console a year or so ago, and I thought that was a lot of work 😂 this blows it out of the water. Keep up the content, this is what I stay up instead of sleeping for.
Thanks man! Glad you dig it. Curves add a whole new level of fun
Awesome.
Your "client" is an extremely lucky lady 😀
I wholeheartedly agree with the struggle, especially with myself, with challenging that discomfort from imperfection. There’s oddly a large amount of growth with practicing this. Great video.
We have all been waiting for this day with you
As a woodworker and avid UA-cam viewer I consider you to be a master craftsman. Top of your game. Excellent work. I love the design and execution.
Hey thanks Rick. I appreciate the generous words and pleased you liked the build!
A piece of Art!
Norm Abrams is proud, I'm sure!
I am in awe of your creativity. Such a cool piece
This is a next level woodworking phenomenal work! 6 months well spent
Those paper thin sheets of wood are so satisfying
I mean the editing on this was almost as much a work of art as the dresser!
Thanks Robert! This edit was a ton of fun to piece together. Glad you liked it
Magnificent. What an amazing piece of work. I have enough trouble getting my rectilinear pieces to fit up properly. LOL. I enjoy your videos immensely.
Haha thanks Matt! Glad you’re digging the builds!
Awesome work! I’m glad you shared your work with us on UA-cam.
Really appreciate that man! Glad you enjoyed!
Gorgeous piece! And thanks for the link to the other Maker of the Year entries. I could barely breathe, taking all that in.
Work of art my friend…museum-worthy.
You consistently up your video editing game. And per usual your craftsmanship is pure art! This was so enjoyable to watch!
You are definitely a craftsman at heart. What beautiful work! 👍🏻
Thanks Doris!
Absolutely astonishing! Your wife must have been blown away with this piece. I always love your thought process behind your piece. your amazing.
This piece was crazy. Looks great! Your videos are a joy to watch. Keep it up!
Thanks Daniel!
Another jaw dropping piece! I love that you keep in your mistakes to explain how you fixed them or not. I also like your sound track. Can't wait to see what's next.
What a Magnificent piece. 👍🏼
It’s hard to believe you’ve only been doing this for less than 5 years, you are inspiring👏
I truly hope you enter this piece into the design contest you talked about. It is absolutely stunning and showcases your remarkable skills
Thanks so much Steve! It’s entered. Some serious competition though! www.woodreview.com.au/moty2022/world-2022
You're my favourite woodworking channel on youtube, hands down you make some of the best work I've ever seen and deliver it through amazing videos
Thanks a ton man!
Agreed 👍
Serious skills. And patience. Well done. Video editing is awesome.
Everything is perfect in this video.
Wow!! Excellent job!! I want to say more but my words won't do it justice. Your amazing Nick!!! Your voice over was tops as well!!
Thanks Chris!
Got my shirt on the way! Proud to advertise your name!
You’re the best! Thanks so much. Just chatted with the printer now that I’ve got an idea of size distribution and should have it headed your way shortly!
Absolutely stunning!
wow! crazy mad skillz. I love your work (unfortunately I bet I couldn't afford it! ) I also really love your videos, not so long next time please.....
An absolutely epic build, Nick. The design, build, and capture are all positively top notch!
Ah thanks again Mike!
You call it a cabinet. I call it a work of art. I like that you paid so much attention to the backside details. A truly gorgeous piece!
The woodworking is amazing and the video editing is there as well! Subscribed and waiting for more!
Thanks Alex!
