These are skills passed down from tradesman to apprentice over the years. Thank you for posting this. My wife and I both enjoyed watching this build, and we both want one 🙂. I'm right there with the people who first thought "That looks like something I could do.." and then I realized that I would not have the patience for it, nor, even though I consider myself handy, do I have the skills. Sure I could do it - after a few years of practice and guidance from someone like you, perhaps.
Oh, assembling the house is very elaborate, every detail of the yin and yang tenon when assembled is very tight, you can call this a wood processing industry, you have a very rich imagination. good luck

@@daleval2182 It is an under the floor heating system he built. Called "Ondol," and it has a fireplace on one end of the room and a chimney on the other. It is very cleverly designed. He says it is traditional to Korea and according some accounts goes back thousands of years BC! Very cool. Many people have commented from around the world of similar systems used such as Romans and various others, but none archeologically as anciently practiced. Wood wood you are such a very hard working man + an honorable one + you take so much pride in yourself and what you do in life. I loved watching your skills in building it from start to finish. Do you keep tract of the hours or days - weeks that this project took you? If so would to share even approximately how long if you don’t mind? I am 76 years old and I live in America and from what I have seen and witnessed in your country workers like yourself still take pride in life doing things the right way like we used to back 50 - 60 years ago because we were proud of what we did and had the pride to do things the right way. If we go back 100 - 150 years back in time the way you cut the joints and hand fit everything is how it was done also. Sure you use some power tools but you also use the old ways combined to do things the right way. Please forgive my long comment and if I didn’t make much sense forgive me I am working on the project my body needs worked on my brain tumor and it doesn’t look like I have much time left to finish other things either. Thank You and Cheers to everyone
From an 80 yr old to Toy: I remember my grandfather building a cottage in a manner similar to this though some nails were used in places. The old-timers had such a pride of workmanship and built for centuries of use. That things are now done “slap-dash” and “good enough” is indicative of the many things lost in our society. You have now begun a new journey in your life. Sending prayers to you for tranquility during the times ahead.
What beautiful work and craftmanship. Thinking this would do well in a greenhouse application here where it gets cold in the US. It has inspired me. Thank you and Great work!
Thank you for recording the process. It was very enjoyable to watch. The joints on the woodworking is excellent. In America, we use a heated water system for warming the floors. Plastic tubing snaked back and forth under the flooring. It is ran by electricity. So when the power goes out, so does the warm floor. Your family must be very proud of your hard work.
It is a Korea-made, modern development of traditional ondol heating in Korea. Now, every house in Korea is heated with such a system. However, in Korea, stones are covered over pipelines to preserve heat for a long time. So the floor stays hot for a long time even when the boiler is turned off. ^&~

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this gentleman build. His unique professionalism is eye opening. His wood working skills r amazing! In t US things r seriously regulated for safety, as well as quality. Overseas good ol' 'consciousness' is a huge boon 2 personal well-being. This man knows his trade. Word of mouth travels far & wide 4 his customers satisfaction. Sometimes good ol' fashioned mindfulness applied gets t job done far better than tons of $$. Bless this man, his peace of mind & physical strength r a testiment 2 his work ethics. Lack of $ doesn't limit t quality of workmanship.

I encourage you to follow along like this video. Thank you for watching my video from afar.

If I ever get to try it, I wish he could install it!

I am very happy with your many compliments. Thank you for watching. We also hope that your health will be restored.
Прекрасный комментарий! Желаю Вам здоровья!

Thank you for watching my video.
It is a Korea-made, modern development of traditional ondol heating in Korea. Now, every house in Korea is heated with such a system.
However, in Korea, stones are covered over pipelines to preserve heat for a long time. So the floor stays hot for a long time even when the boiler is turned off. ^&~
Very relaxing to watch too. Thank you for sharing some important tradition and learning.
Thanks for liking my video.

I am very happy with your praise. Thank you for watching my video.
