Miss Jill, you are amazing. I just love the closure. I am so impressed on this folio and how it turned out. You are a fantastic artist in your creations. I like the water fall page to. I seen someone do a water fall sideways but I guess you would say it is a page turner ha ha. But it looked like a water fall to me. I love all your details that you added to this folio too. Thanks for the kind comment. 🥰 I am excited to share my news. ☺️. As for my sweet linnies, all 4 passed of ( old age,) they were 3 sisters from the same clutch, and the 4th was a half sister ,( same father, different mother) so they were all the same age. It was hard to lose them all within 8 months of each other. They were just the sweetest, gentlest, little parrots ever. Penelope was a cream color, Gertrude, / Gerty was a blue, Ruthie was green and Eleanor/Elle was yellow. My daughter owned their brother Louie. He was cobalt blue. It's kinda why I paid tribute to them when making journals or folios and naming them those names. Thank you for asking. 🥰 hugs
Ok, so I guess I’m in LOVE WITH EVERYTHING YOU DO and this folio journal is NO exception. The closure is BRILLIANT! I have a few piano rolls, so now I have a reason to use them! WOW. Just in awe of your creations! I do have a question about the VOV cricut cut outs. I have Tim Holtz Kraft sandable cardstock but it is the smaller size not the 12 x 12. I re-watched your video where you showed your blue and red cricut cuts. Wondering how you were able to cut those out on your cricut with the the colored cardstock? Perhaps you used 12 x 12?
😃😂thank . ☺️ to answer your questions. I have the same sandable cardstock you have. It is smaller than a letter size. My husband does all my cricut cutting. I have never used the cricut program. I only have the free part of the program. I hand him the cardstock and say, "Cut this please, thank you." Hahahaha But, I know that he can pick the size of the cardstock, the cricut shrinks the design to fit onto the cardstock. Because I use so many different sizes of cardstock, I get lots of different sizes of the bits and bobs. Lol I am sorry I am such little help when it comes to answering your questions. I can slso tell you that him and I have wasted a fare amount of cardstock buy not getting it right. Lol it is why I also started yo use colored file folders. I can cut a file folder into a letter size 8.5 by 11 and the designs fight on it better. If he has to shrink the design to small, the bits and bobs come out to small to use. I will admit that we have made plenty of confetti. Hahahahahaha. Perhaps there are youtube videos on how to use different sizes of cardstock. Sorry 😞 I was not much help. Perhaps the seller, VOV, could answer your questions . She would know how to use the program. I know I should learn how to use it...... but,...... every time my husband tries to show me, either he gets it wrong and we both stand there scratching our heads, or I get frustrated and , " play the old person " card. 😁😆. I bought a cricut joy extra just to fussy cut digitals, but it’s usually always 8 1/2 x 11 because that’s as big as the Joy Xtra will allow. I’ll keep searching UA-cam and maybe reach out to VOV too. Like you, I became obsessed with her digitals and I have almost all of them😎. The cutouts was a wonderful idea all thanks to you🩷🩷. I’ll go back to figuring it out until it works🩷. Thanks so much!
