Can you tell me what size of timber you used for the base/chassis pls. Are they treated timbers? Also, what is your reason for doubling up thickness by joining pieces rather than purchasing ready made timber with the correct/desired thickness?
Forgive me for asking questions, as I am looking at building one for our garden as we speak. What type(s) of wood/ pannels did you use for external cladding? Also, what types of pannels did you use for internal cladding? Any recommendation(s) are well appreciated. Thanks a million. God Bless.
Heya, the internal cladding on the walls was supplied by Harrogate huts as part of the kit, it's v grooved , 9mm MDF. The internal roof cladding was the v groove cladding I linked in the other comment on the external cladding video. The external cladding is shiplap, both timber claddings were either 9 or 12mm.
the plywood frame, roof panels, windows/door and internal cladding were part of a kit from Harrogate Huts. The chassis, external cladding, trim etc was all seperate supplies
@@Extragonk What is your reason for not buiding the frame of the hut from 3x2" timbers then using Harrogate roof kit? Having said that, would you recommend to obtain the entire kit from Harrogate?
that's some serious overkill .but hay it will still be solid after my great grate grandchildren's kids pass on .
hehe, it was originally planned to be able to lift onto a trailer in case we moved.

Yep they are treated c24 grade timber, and we're doubled up purely due to supply, it'll be in my notes somewhere but I think they were 220*50mm.
