Trick Daddy talked about life growing up in Miami during the reign of the 'D boys.' He described how they encouraged academic success by giving kids money for good report cards, as well as their participation in local sports. Trick Daddy also acknowledged the darker side of this environment, stating that if someone got shot in his car, they were a victim of his crime. He lamented the lack of rules that used to protect women and children from violence and criticized the modern child protective system which he believes criminalizes parents who discipline their children. He recounted personal childhood experiences, including the time he had to live with his father after being caught with drugs in school, fearing his mother would lose her house.

Oh, for sure! So check this out. I’m paralyzed from a bad car accident where I was not the driver one of my friends who I thought was a friend at the time caused my accident and NEVER EVER checked on me. Not even once. I wake up two weeks later after a coma and he’s telling me I was the one driving well I didn’t have any recollection from being knocked out so I had to take his word for it. Why would someone lie about something like that right? Then I find out That he was the one driving and he knew the whole time and still never ever developed a conscious to reach out to me and check out on me even though he calls the accident from the car he was driving and I was the passenger got thrown out the window broke my neck now a C6 quadriplegic from someone I thought was like my brother! I am currently in a freaking nursing home right now at 44 years old as a result of bedsores my body breaking down all my accident that I didn’t cause that I have to live with every single day! I’ve changed my mentality through the years, so it stings a little bit as opposed to being in a serious pain, but sometimes a fly or a net could be small in stature but annoy you more than someone hitting you with a stick which will actually cause some strike in pain etc. I’m off track so anybody out there reading this. Please buckle up I had my seatbelt on I would not be in this situation right now, I’ve been paralyzed 19 years. I was 25 when I got paralyzed from the chest down in the nursing home from 25 to 30 then kept having multiple setbacks through the years to the point where I’m in one now at 44 have no life no privacy, no dignity or respect, it’s like jail but all of your cellmate are elderly. Keep me in your prayers. Lord knows I need it. Be thankful for every moment that you have on earth because any day you could be gone or it could be severely altered. There is no such thing as fairness, you play your cards. That’s the mystique of life itself is because nothing is promised to anyone. Some people are born with a zillion options, and some people grow up, tortured, abused, or killed. Trust me, when I tell you laugh as much as you can because this life thing by itself, will eat you up and chew you out. You have to have a strong mental fortitude to deal with something like this, without losing a major part of yourself on that note I’m out. Think I said too much, now I’m all sad and shit

Keep pushing folks I got some permanent injuries due to gunshots in the base of my spine and other areas the beef wasn’t mine but attached to some niggaz from my block GBA they say I’m not as permanently injured as you are but I know what you speak of to some degree and you definitely gotta be mentally strong to deal with this shit you spend a lot of time on a roller coaster of thought and emotion. Keep pushing a couple homies I know got paralyzed and I ve seen both make progress don’t think negative cause it can effect you physically. I wish for you the best and may he who created all we see aid you with all that ails you (peace)
