This is a really cool car. I had one back in the day (owned it in 2008-2010, I can't believe how long ago that was), it was a year older than this one, and actually even the same color. It has a sort of clunky feel to it, but these cars are solid, I mean, good luck killing the engine and transmission (the suspension is a bit fragile, but it's not too bad). It's not super fast in stock form, it'll only do a 14.7 second 1/4 mile, but with basic upgrades (intake, intercooler, exhaust, boost controller, Supra fuel pump, and some means of removing the 0.93 bar boost cut-off) it'll be doing low 13's. The 1J isn't quite as durable as the 2J, but the internals have proven to be able to handle up to 500 horsepower.
