You probably didn’t notice the gate opened at the end and was closed at the beginning. The cage is a proverbial cage, of course, and he was trapped in it by his older selves.
You may also not have noticed he used Sad Boy for 2010 Ronnie (the sad boy shit is what got me out of the genre. I was tired of the sad shit. STP’s energy got me back), and the next Ronnie was a Lost Boy era I guess.
Then there is his tonality for the Sad Boi era where he accentuates what he’s saying to match that early 2000’s, sort of Simple Plan, Sum 41 type vibe, and I guess every other group of the time in the emo rock sad boi scene.
Those are just some things, after I’ve been watching these two years too late and haven’t been able to sleep because I’ve literally been feeling every emotion he describes, though maybe not the same. Being trapped, feeling angry, confused, pissed off at how society has changed in like 10 years. And just the deep seated urge and stupid intrusive thoughts of acting out.
The last guy's reactions had me giggling and nerding out. I'm late in the Falling in Reverse game, but thanks to my coworker I finally have been listening and I am in love with their music. Absolutely splendid and it's bringing out the old me. The happier me.

My thoughts when I listened to VIMH for the first time were "meh", until THAT GODDAMN BREAKDOWN. I WAS SHOCKED, MAN. Then I gave it another listen, and another... and now I simply can't stop listening to it. i remember all my scene friends idolized ronnie back in the escape the fate days. like 2006-10. i heard falling in reverse on the radio and i was like "this man is still dropping hits in 2022?". impressive.
Hey Ronnie I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but I’m 20 years old. In my early and mid teens I really got into the rock genre, and you was one my favourite bands ever, alongside Black Veil Brides.
But you started mixing genres and blending hiphop into your band which blew my mind and amazed me, I had never heard anything like it. It got me to start listening to hiphop, rappers like 2pac.
But I got REALLY into juice WRLD. He’s one of my all time favourite musicians and rappers. The weird part is, Juice WRLD once said you was a big inspiration for his music as even though he was a rapper, he touched on some deep topics.
I guess what I’m trying to say is even though I’m not “emo” anymore, and I rarely listen to rock now, I still every now and then check on how you’re doing as you played a big part in my life as a music listener.

I had only really heard about Falling in Reverse about a month ago. i kept hearing Zombified on my spotify and on the radio.. decided to go check them out to see if i liked any other songs (i'm picky lol). i went through some early stuff, and wasnt really my style. it was ok for me. then i finally came across Popular Monster (fk'in wow), watched vids on YT, saw Voices (amazing).
i had come across someone's comment about how good "I'm not a vampire" was.. watched the original.. meh. THEN i came across the Revamped version.........

I've heard the song more in reactions than straight through by 20 to 1. It shocks me every time I see the actual song length is 3:10. It seems like it's a 10 minute jam with how often reactors stop and go back over parts. If I ever see them live and they don't play it 3 time I'm not gonna feel like I didn't get the full experience.

Mental anxiety isn't a joke by any means. Not implying he's joking about it. But the thoughts can manipulate your feelings and make you think everything is wrong and any new symptoms are going to kill you. Look at Google for instance, almost every symptom you look up is either covid or you have some kind of cancer that drives your anxiety out of the roof and scares you constantly. It truly is nerve wrecking

Additionally, I hate it when someone says to get help. Therapists are some of the most effed up people in the industry. really want them to adjust your perspective on life? Dealing with PTSD after the VA shrink... just makes you question your sanity even more.

Oh, and Ronnie, there is one thing worse than medical anxiety. That is knowing you have something wrong with you that can't be fixed until it's life-threatening. My child and I both have the same genetic disorder and it causes your heart valves and major blood vessels to break down (in addition to some other issues). The problem with this is that I found out when I was 39 that my aorta is thinning. Eventually, it will reach the point that it could dissect and rupture. The surgery is so risky that they won't do anything until it is imminently life-threatening, so it's a bit like walking around with a bomb strapped to your chest. I quit looking to Google for health advice a long, long time ago.
