He's saying that the hard side of valuation is not using the formula(DCF Model, DDM Model, etc), but coming up with the numbers to put on the formula, and for that you need to know the business, so you can estimate how the future of the business is gonna look like. Hope I'm being clear

I'm going to call it today Fluor mrkt cap of 2.5 Billion net loss of about 2B over the last year. By 2022 (if not early) they will generate FCF of 500 Million effectively yielding 20% not sure what net income will look like but it will be positive. In my view its a $50 stock priced at $17 and can likely make a good run past $100 if they can keep up the momentum and reduce debt. (I'm an investor) hopefully I dont look like an idiot but ill be holding so be sure to make fun of me if it fails lol.

I just try not to buy at inflated prices. I only buy high quality companies so I dont want to haggle too much on the price
