or Shadow just always holds back cause the only move he ever uses against Sonic is chaos spear. no Chaos Control, no Chaos Blast, he doesn't use most of his abilities when fighting Sonic. he holds back A LOT.
If Shadow takes off his inhibitor rings he will become stronger but constantly lose stamina, basically like the kaioken, then all Sonic has to do is just maneuver his speed and attacks. Shadow just saves it as a last resort.
I don't know if there's a way to add characters to this, but the guy that I think made that Knuckles and Shadic among other characters (Andrew55 I think) made his own Seelkadoom. THAT version of Seel is broken and is something you should check out if you can.
let me ask you something. Have you tried the first MUGEN Seelkadoom mod? the Seelkadoom V1 if so what do you think? if not you should definitely try it cause he's busted as heck and i'm only gonna tell you that can can 2V1 Shadic and Sonic.exe
I remeber there being an exe model that was so op it had no transformations cause of how op it was it would normally one shot normal charaters the only ones to stand up to it would be a next op/busted charater also it had cool specials and attacks but im not sure if it works here

Youu also can't ignore the fact that Sonic could beat Infinite when Silver couldn't (then again that's from forces). Also if SA2, Sonic Heros and Sonic Battle is anything to go by, Sonic could definitely handle shadow using more chaos abilities.

The reason why Sonic wins everytime is cause the writers of the boost games (except unleashed) are terrible writers that literally read of off Wikipedia, they said so themselves in an interview, they don't care about the characters and are very bad when it comes to writing for Sonic, hence why most stories from those games are trash or non-existent, they try way to hard to make Sonic funny and it fails, Sonic is faster than Shadow but Shadow is pretty much stronger in every other category, you could argue physically Sonic is stronger cause of sonic generations (and like I said before the writers don't care about it) but both Shadow and Sonic do the same things, and Shadow was made to harness chaos power so he's better with that, but sonic has done crazy things too in said Sonic generations he runs so fast he was restoring time and space, he also beat perfect chaos in his base form in the same game, and in sonic forces he took down infinite (with the phantoms ruby) in base form, but with help from oc thing (you can give him half of the credit) so yeah Sonic is pretty strong too just not as good with chaos powers like Shadow is

The reason why Sonic wins everytime is cause the writers of the boost games (except unleashed) are terrible writers that literally read of off Wikipedia, they said so themselves in an interview, they don't care about the characters and are very bad when it comes to writing for Sonic, hence why most stories from those games are trash or non-existent, they try way to hard to make Sonic funny and it fails, Sonic is faster than Shadow but Shadow is pretty much stronger in every other category, you could argue physically Sonic is stronger cause of sonic generations (and like I said before the writers don't care about it) but both Shadow and Sonic do the same things, and Shadow was made to harness chaos power so he's better with that, but sonic has done crazy things too in said Sonic generations he runs so fast he was restoring time and space, he also beat perfect chaos in his base form in the same game, and in sonic forces he took down infinite (with the phantoms ruby) in base form, but with help from oc thing (you can give him half of the credit) so yeah Sonic is pretty strong too just not as good with chaos powers like Shadow is
