Very nice haul, I thought you might go for B-12A next, but this MiniArt Fokker is absolutely gorgeous, really looking forward to this one. Hi Jason, I hope you enjoyed Telford. My wife has watched bits of the Scharnhorst build with me, now you mention it. It never occurred to me to mention either. I have Scharnhorst and Gneisenau with mkl advanced sets and she (Nikki) is fascinated with the minutia of the detail. I mean, she thinks we're mental, but she does find interest in it and supports my hobby. Very lucky in that way..... I'd become a member too. Iain Mac.
@@64G_Design My wife doesn’t watch but it was her suggestion at the beginning of 2023, 6 months after I came out of hospital to live in a hospital bed in my living room, she thought I should start modelling again which had been my intention before I became ill. She’s given me the dining table in the dining room for my bench and my spraybooth is in the utility room which has external ventilation. My only issue has been I’ve been time limited by 7 surgeries in the last 30 months and pain has kept me away from the bench. In fact I’ve only started one model this year. I will return to my own bedroom hopefully in a couple of weeks. Wives that support modellers are a great asset.👍

The place is covered in penguins, and when I got my Border Lancs she inquired as to where I intended to display them, along with other aircraft. I said, "we have plenty of space," pointing at the ceiling(s). "Penguins can't fly."

I hope you can take comfort in the knowledge that most of us appreciate your efforts. That said, I’ll admit to a slight smile regarding your hotel story. My plans also sometimes don’t meet my expectations, but you always seem to “keep calm and carry on”. You are a trooper! Facebook, I’ve never had a page, haven’t seen the value. Your adventure may change my mind especially with the Sherbourne build staring me in the face. I like the idea of leaning on a like minded community for help and ideas. Hi Jason, Great Video, with some good stuff upcoming. I look forward to the F13 build. I have the reciprocating sander and it definitely is front to back, but I think there is a small side to side as well. As an addition to that I also have their rotary sander, which has adhesive grits you can attach. In addition they also do a set of polishing mops that fit o it and pastes from coarse to polish. It also takes drill bits and a set of burrs. There is also a separate head that fits the sander and allows you to put full size heads in it as well, although that PARTcomes from Tyrell models not DSPIAE. The floatplane looks rather tasty. I hope the colour coats line does live on. When I decide to build my water going vessels I intended to purchase from their product line. Fingers crossed they return. It sounds like the detritus collector was full in the shower drain and housekeeping hasn’t been doing their job properly. Thanks again Mark

Hi MKS, another great video as usual. I totally agree with you on the IPMS situation. I emailed them offering my services helping them with the website, throwing ideas at them such as a magazine archive, an easier place to obtain kit instructions and just generally making info more easily accessable. I was lucky enough to recieve a call from the webmaster and after 5 minutes all my ideas were rejected, so , Ive not renewed my memebership as I dont feel Im getting my moneys worth.
I unsubscribed from the guy's channel going on three years ago due to his lack of integrity. He was bigging up and defending subpar products in order to get freebies.
I watched your Telford video and with respect it was quite hard on the eyes with the jerkiness. Although you shot it in HD the FPS was only 25. In future try increasing the FPS to at least 30 and it should provide a smoother video. Re spokeshave, try Axminster tools as they have the Veritas miniature spokeshave.
