Wow. That was so powerful. What a voice Johannes has. Love this song, listened to it many many times but this has to be the best performance of it on video.
I know this is an old video, but it really strikes me how far away from the mic he is when he sings. I know when the whole band is in full swing and he growls, he's right up on it, but it really show how powerful his singing voice is. Love these guys!
Ummmmm, listen. This sounds a lot like he's singing about jail. Just listen to what he says. "All alone, you count the hours, right where you belong." As someone who has been incarcerated, this sounds like it's about a dude imprisoned and dreaming of towers.
